This episode was full of surprises. Creepy, suspenseful, and it looks like things are really picking up the pace now. I'm glad that Light has more to deal with now. Things seemed too easy before, but now he's got his work cut out for him. Now he has lost his trump card with Misa, her Shinigami eyes and the real identity of L.

The biggest shock was Misa being captured and the way she was tied up. It was nice to see Rem reassure her that everything would be okay, and it was sad to see them part from each other.

The ending certainly gave us some food for thought. I wonder what Light meant when he said goodbye to Ryuk? Damn, this is intense. It'd always be a cliffhanger no matter where they ended the episodes.
  • Good good good good this episode is good

this episode is one of the best episode i have seen of death note. this episode used all of light an l's intelligence to be done. im amazed at how light and l went back and fourth thinking of wat they should do next. i was amazed at the end at when light was smart enough to think about a way to make a bad thing into a good thing. i also like how L used all of his intelligence to trick light again and again. well this episode was awsome and i advise you to watch it long live DeaTh NotE.
  • Light immediately suspects that Misa is the second Kira after meeting her. Then L catches her and asks her questions by torturing; she refuses to answer. Then Rem gives her a solution: To giveup the death note. Rem then goes to Light & talk

Wow- Ryuzaki is extremely smart in this episode. I liked it how he took the two cellphones from Misa by acting as if he wanted to touch her 'behind.' I didn't expect that at all, did you? And the writer has a very good way of showing that Ryuzaki took the two cellphones.

Even though I admire the smartness of Ryuzaki, I somewhat feel sorry for the fact that Light idn;t get his name. But, I am happy too because if Light had got his name, then the series would have ended, which wouldn't be very intresting.

Anyways, Ryuzakis action was really smart!

This episode is definitely one of the more exciting ones, leaving the viewer wishing for more. Misa discovers L's name, but is taken into custody, tortured, and gives up ownership of the Death Note--meaning no more shinigami eyes! Just how will Light get her out of the situation without exposing himself or losing his life? It'll be one doozy of a plan, to peak at episode 25/26. Can y'all wait that long?

The emotions of this episode were the most self-apparent of any episode yet, and it's almost heart breaking to watch it. It's well-written, well-plotted, and most of all, calls the viewer back for more. I give it 9.3/10.
  • Torture? *gasps* You wouldn't do that! It pains Rem to see Misa in such a position. And so is Light. AND TAHT WAS SPECTACULAR!

Well, that was L. It was crazy of him to do that. He laugehd becasue he knew she was tehs econd Kira.

    "Well, this is goodbye, Ryuk."

What do you mean? Now that you have two Death Notes, you have the power you wanted all along! I bet Light's turning hismelf in. No, Light, I won't let you! Please no!!! Well, I guess he did.

That was the best as much as i am upset because L is defiantly going to die, but that was so awesome so clever and Misa is just a blond bimbo lol. Kira better not kill her :( she livens the mood a little. So when will he die and how will Kira(Light) do it is the question that i want answering and when i go to school tomorrow i will finally know the answer to... It also makes me wonder how the story will continue when L dies and its painful to see L confess that Light is the best friend he has ever had and then to know that he was pretty much killed by him... So horrible but exciting and this episode defiantly makes you go WOW. It was really awesome when we found out that L would have actually caught Kira and would of had him killed but because he has met Misa his life span extends because L will not be able to find out( as he is dead :'( ).It hits every user that watches this series in the face TRUST ME! So yeah defiantly one of the best and really hope you enjoy it. Thanks for reading.

This was an amazing episode… The drama build-up and the close calls… The intensity of the palpable danger… The real concern I felt for the characters before me… This episode was severely good. My favorite so far.

Light is on the verge of finally bringing down his nemesis L, when everything goes horribly wrong, and his entire aspiration, seems like it will come to a violent end.

It plays out brilliantly as usual, L having found the second Kira, is only steps away from confirming that Kira is in fact, Light, and stopping him at last… You’ll be tingling with excitement as this one ends.
