This episode was full of surprises. Creepy, suspenseful, and it looks like things are really picking up the pace now. I'm glad that Light has more to deal with now. Things seemed too easy before, but now he's got his work cut out for him. Now he has lost his trump card with Misa, her Shinigami eyes and the real identity of L.
The biggest shock was Misa being captured and the way she was tied up. It was nice to see Rem reassure her that everything would be okay, and it was sad to see them part from each other.
The ending certainly gave us some food for thought. I wonder what Light meant when he said goodbye to Ryuk? Damn, this is intense. It'd always be a cliffhanger no matter where they ended the episodes.
