  • Wheel's parents are dead.

"Can't Live With 'Em" Part 2 is such a sad Degrassi Junior High episode. The death of Wheel's parents was so shocking. The funeral was so sad. It was awkward with Wheel's not wanting to talk to anyone and Joey and Snake not knowing what to say. I love how Joey was able to talk to Wheel's by the end of this episode and they hug. It was very cute. In this episode, we find out Arthur's mom won a million dollar lottery. I hate how this happens because Arthur changes a little, but Yick changes too and he becomes obsessed with Arthur being rich. It's annoying. It was so cute when Shane gave his allowance to Spike for child support. I give this episode a 9/10.

  • After Wheels' parents' deaths, Wheels won't talk to anyone. He tells his grandma he would rather stay there than live with them. When he does come back to school, everyone else is nervous around him. Shane gives Spike child support money.

Good follow-up. We have set the stage for Wheels living with his grandparents. They end up moving in to the same house, eventually. And we have the students learning more about death, and LD sharing too, like what helped her when her mom died. It's kind of a wake-up call for some; with Spike after the funeral, saying to Liz how scared she is; what if she loses her mom? And how different people respond; Snake hiding, Alexa being about to cry, and Joey trying to show support. Very sweet seeing them hug at the end. Good follow-up with Spike and Shane as well, with Shane giving her some child support money, and getting a job in order to give more. We never know how Spike made the decision to keep Emma, but at least we don't see her(or anyone in the series yet) have an adoption plan all ready and then change her mind once she's born.
  • After the death of his parents, Wheels has trouble talking to his friends and isolates himself. People don't know what to say to him. He blames Joey for the entire incident, saying he made his parents mad at him. He feels guilty and angry.

Just two minutes into the show and I was in tears. It made me cry at several different points. I found Neil Hope's acting to be very convincing at most points. I really love that the reactions of everyone were very realistic. Thats something that draws me to the show. So it gets dramatic when Wheels beats up Joey and won't accept his sympathy. I would most definatly say the two parts of this episode were the best Degrassu has put on. I really reccomend anyone to watch this episode. I really felt the pain and emotion. Best episode ever!
