  • Lucy throws a party before exams.

    9.0
"Pa-arty!" is a fun Degrassi Junior High episode. In this episode, everybody's stress from studying for exams, so Lucy decides to throw a party. I love how Joey, Snake, and Wheel's promise to bring alcohol but they can't because their IDs are fake. I love how Clutch buys them beer, but takes some for himself. I love how Joey and Snake get caught by the police drinking. Clutch was entertaining being all drunk and Paul got redemption for not allowing Clucth to drive. Even though I liked Cluth, he was a jerk and I'm glad Lucy broke up with him at the end of the episode. I give this episode a 9/10.moreless

  • After Alexa's attempt to have a before-exams party, Lucy takes it over. She and Clutch are having problems because he gets drunk, and this is an excuse to get away from him. Joey plans on bringing beer and he and Snake get caught.moreless

I knew it! I knew from the second I saw Lucy and Clutch getting together that this would happen eventually. Paul actually seems more level-headed in this episode. When Clutch tells him what's going on with the party and let's go, he's the one who says "she probably didn't want you there, and she sure doesn't want me there". In seeing them work together to get Clutch out the door, I see that there's a peaceful existence between them now, even though they never get back together or even talk about what happened. It's funny how Lucy uses just what she learned from Clutch, against him. He's the one who told her to lie to LD and the twins in A Big Girl Now, and now she's doing the exact same thing to him. With her first saying her parents' plans are changed, he actually agrees to go to Alexa's party, which before, he'd said "I don't want to go to a niner's party". Yet he'll gladly bowl with niners to get her? And once Lucy says Alexa's party is off, he goes on with them seeing a movie. Lucy then saying she needs to study, well, it does sound lame, but she's good with exiting from him before he can question it. Joey and getting beer and fake IDs, it's just silly. But hilarious watching them send Snake because he happens to look older. The fake ID he sees through. As for Clutch getting it, I remember on A Big Girl Now, him saying something about using his brother's ID; that was probably it, and he does it so often the guy knows him. Kathleen is starting to re-direct her perfectionism towards having a guy like her, like Melanie likes Snake. And with their just-shaken friendship, Melanie agrees to let her come to the party with them. It's sad to see Caitlin, Kathleen and Melanie sitting all by themselves being stood up. Good for Wheels to not drink, in honor of his parents who were killed by a drunk driver. And his grandma believes him too! Enjoy that trust while it lasts.moreless
