  • Wheel's is adopted.

"Parents' Night" is a great Degrassi episode. It deals with adoption. It was so creepy how this guy is stalking Wheels and he claims to be Wheel's biological father. Wheel's dealing with being adopted was a pretty cool storyline. I like the Spike subplot of not knowing if she wanted to keep the baby or give the baby up for adoption. It was really cute how she asked Wheels about his adoption. I give this episode a 9/10.

Wheels meets his birth father for the first time when he comes to town. Wheels finds he has a lot in common with his father and is hopeful that they will become close. After realizing that his father doesn't feel the same way, Wheels is hurt. Spike is considering giving her baby up for adoption once it is born, and asks Wheels for advice. Its weird that this show could produce some of the best episodes ever of any tv show, and also procude some of the worst crap ever. well I guess with a low budget show you cant expect constant perfection. too bad it didnt have a CBS or an NBC budget behind it because when this show was good it blew the cosby show and family ties out of the water.

anyways this episode is as bad as it gets. in fact i can only think of one other episode that was worse. the one where LDs dad goes to the hospital. no episode will ever dethrone that on its kingdom of badness. the acting in this one is really bad. esp wheels who has to be the worst actor ever. although he did get better in later seasons, in the 1st season he was really bad.
  • Wheels meets his birth father. Right then Spike starts asking him questions about his being adopted, as she is considering giving the baby up for adoption. Both their struggles are parallel. Parents\' night is coming, and Joey writes a fake note from his.

This episode makes interesting connections between Wheels, who is adopted, and Spike, who is pregnant and considering giving her baby up for adoption. Wheels meets his birth father, and sees what they have in common. Until he gets hurt by Mike referring to him as \"my kid\". He learns to appreciate his adoptive parents more. And Spike gives him insight, on wondering if she\'d love her baby too much, and should she try to meet her child later? In that, they help each other. That\'s absolutely hilarious how Joey tries to get his parents out of going to Parents Night. He is afraid because of his marks, but he doesn\'t think that Mr Raditch would put in a call to them. And it appears that Spike and Shane break up in this episode.
