Degrassi Junior High

"Sealed with a Kiss" is an amazing Degrassi Junior High episode. This episode had so many layers. First of all, I love how this episode deals with consequences of kissing. I love how Erica thinks she has mono after kissing a boy. I love how Heather thinks she has mono after kissing the same boy. It was so awesome how we find out that Erica had tonsilitis and Heather was just having sympathy pains. I give this episode 9.5/10.

Erica meets an older guy at the school dance and french kisses him in the school stairwell. She later feels ill, and thinks he may have given her mono. When he drops by the house to visit, Erica is too sick to go out. He asks her twin sister Heather to go for a drive instead, where he kisses her as well. Heather tells Erica what happened and they both go to the doctors office to see if they have mono. They are both relieved to find out Erica had just come down with tonsilitis. Wheels re-joins The Zits, but now Snake is the one who can't practice



I really liked this episode because the twins finally get the lead instead of playing backup like they always did before. well written and acted esp by the twins. nothing extroardinary but very enjoyable to watch. definitely a notch above the average degrassi episode.

Twins Heather and Erica are best friends. They share the same room, have the same taste in clothes, and even have the same set of friends at school. Heather feels comfortable with this, but Erica wants to be her own woman. She wants her own identity. She meets a guy at a school dance, and shares a kiss with him. Erica then gets sick. While Erica is resting in bed, Heather goes out with the guy, and they share a kiss! Both girls think they have mono, but it turns out that neither of them have it- Erica has tonsilitis. Heather jokingly reminds her that when her tonsils are removed, they will indeed be different! Very cute episode!

Good episode for anyone who is or knows identical twins. Every set of twins seems to have a "goody-goody"(Heather) and an adventurous one.(Erica) But combinations are different. Mostly we see them together in this show, and here we see what the real difference is. Also it's good to bring this up for all kids of this age; like to wonder why we want to French-kiss. So many enter into it WAY too lightly, so it's good to talk about it. And good to see the twins dealing with their differences and loving each other through it. Alexa needs a good hard lesson in the Golden Rule here. Which I think she gets in episodes to come. She dances with all the St Mary's guys, not really caring what Simon thinks. But what if he had then started dancing with St Mary's girls? I'm thinking Stephanie wasn't at that dance, or she'd have tried to take advantage of Simon on that note. Joey and Wheels' lamenting is kinda funny; they don't like how the Degrassi girls are dancing with the other guys but when Snake suggests they ask the other girls to dance, they say forget it, we don't know them.

And the Zit Remedy not being able to practice because of Snake's classical guitar lessons, so typical. Though it can also be a learning experience. Obviously Snake comes to take what he learned there to make the band better.....eventually.
