  • Steph asks out Wheels. Yick and Arthur plan to watch an adult video.

"The Best Laid Plans" is such an entertaining Degrassi Junior High episode. I love how Stephanie asks out Wheels, then there's all these rumours that they may have sex on their date. I love how Joey convinces Wheels to buy condoms. I love how Steph gets caught dressing in her "sexy" clothes and she finds out about Steph date with Wheels. I love how Yick and Arthur get excited to watch a porno, and Yick invites a lot of guys over to watch, but they can't since his mom decided to stay home and talk to Steph about sex. I give this episode a 8.5/10.

Stephanie asks Wheels out on another date, and rumours start floating around the school that they will have sex on their date. Wheels unknowingly buys condoms at the drugstore where Stephanie's mother works. All pressure and plans are quickly ended, when Wheels arrives at Stephanie's house for their date, and Stephanie's mom recognizes him from the drugstore. Yick gets a hold of one of his brother's X-Rated videos, and plans to watch it at Arthur's house. if anyone does a best degrassi episode list of all the degrassi series, I would put this at the very top. i liked that although steph was the star she didnt steal the show because everyone else in this episode was also great.
  • Stephanie asks Wheels out. Arthur agrees to watch Swamp Sex Robots with Yick. When their mom has a date Friday they both take advantage of the opportunity to do these things. And they both get caught.

This is a good episode dealing with teens talking about sex. It's encouraging how both Wheels and Stephanie ask their parents the deep question of, "how old were you when you first had sex"? Neither answer, so it shows that parents can be shy about that too. Maybe they were scared that if they tell the kids will use that against them. The rumors about them having sex all starts by Erica asking "what if he tries something", without really clarifying what that "something" is. Both of them try to look big on that; saying they're not scared; they'll gladly do it if the other wants. It looks also like Voula and Stephanie are in the process of becoming friends, even if they're not best friends anymore. And Joey, ugh, keeps saying to Wheels "all the guys are counting on you". Do guys really do that; count on one to have sex to see what it's like? That may have had an interesting effect on Shane in It's Late. About mom dating again, I think they both are happy only because they get the house to themselves, but otherwise don't really think about it until Dog Days when she announces plans to remarry. Most kids of divorce fantasize about mom and dad getting back together and dating and remarriage crushes that fantasy. It's good to see that Stephanie admitted that at least she didn't have to do anything. And we never hear how the Swamp Sex Robots turned out, but it seems clear that Stephanie's cover is blown, in front of Yick and Alex anyway.
  • Very learning episode about the sex and the teens

Stephanie and Wheels decided to get a date in movie, but their friends have a pression about their sexuality addicted. Arthur, in his side, find a X-Rated Video and invite seven of his friends without their parents glimpse it. This Degrassi Junior High episode revealed a subject very popular in 80's-90's, but probably least currently, or worst again.
