  • Emma and Manny go to a rave.

    "Great"
"Against All Odds" is a good episode. The one thing I love about this episode is that Manny and Emma go to a rave. It's actually pretty brave of them to go to a rave, which is why I enjoy this episode so much. Chris was actually an awesome character and he had some depth to him. I think he was really smart in school and that's one of things Emma likes about him. The only thing I didn't like about this episode was Emma trying to get Chris to notice her. I just don't think he's Emma's type. Anyways, I love the subplot with Spinner thinking Marco as in love with him. I love how he was relieved that Marco wasn't in love with him, but offended when Marco called him ugly. I give this episode a 10/10.moreless

I absolutely looove this episode because it was soooo scandalous. I mean Manny decided to go to the rave just so she can hookup with Craig and ditches Emma in the process. I didn't like the fact that Manny made the decision to leave Emma at the rave. I mean she just had a problem with the fact that Emma wouldn't stoop to her level just to get what she wants. Manny was such a **** in the middle of the third season but after she starts to be compassionate. I mean the fight that ended Manny and Emma's friendship could have been avoided but they chose not to. I was kind of sad that Emma and Manny were no longer friends. Manny can not blame Emma for sticking to her morals and not hookup with Chris knowing he has a girlfriend. I also didn't like the ignorance Spinner showed toward Marco during this episode. He thinks just because he's gay he would be attracted to him. I'm just glad Marco set him straight.moreless
  • I think Emma is smart in this episode when she tells Manny off

    4.4
    "Poor"
I love that Emma does not accept the relationship that Craig and Manny have seeing as he is still with Ashley. I love that Emma tells Manny off and I just wish that it could stay that way; I would respect Emma much more if she weren't friends with Manny.

  • Teen lust at its finest

    9.0
    "Superb"
Great episode. The writers deffinitly showcasing teen angst and lust brilliantly through Craig and Manny, perhaps the next generations Joey and Caitlin. This was hardly the episode the started things off for the two but this is where they kicked things up a notch to a whole new level. Also Emma seeks advice from Manny on how to snag the current object of her affections, Chris Sharpe, a.k.a. C-Dogg. The episode profoundly showed just how far Manny and Emma had drifted apart as friends through their morals. Manny willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants tries to convey to Emma the lesson of it being a dog eat dog world out there and not everyone is going to be as sweet and nice as Emma.moreless
