  • wasn't what I was expecting at all but it was still great

alli finds out about drew and bianca. the fight between fitz and eli hits hard when eli pulls a prank on fitz, and fitz threatens to end it, once and for all... by stabbing eli.

good episode, it certainly wasn't as 'epic' as I had hoped but it was still good, and the final line by Simpson really has me expecting a lot of great things when new episodes continue. It wasn't the best episode of the series but I personally did enjoy it a lot, and so because of all this the episode gets an A+ as a grade

So,this episode was awesome, the best episode of Degrassi to me.

Drew/Alli: It was surprising they were able to get oral sex through the censors and stuff. Bianca is a devilish skank. Owen was funny,he was like "Having oral sex...in the boiler room". I laughed my ass off!

Mr.Torres was a *****,Alli did nothing to your precious

    son.

Eli/Clare Vs. Fitz: It was so intense how Fitz called Clare a ***** and almost stabbed Eli,that was frightening! Eli was a douche though.

Holly.J/Sav: The lap dance scene was cute,it was funny when they got caught! Like how the two presidents get caught by the cops. The cop lady was like "I caught this one stripping". I laughed so loud!

The Lockdown: While brief, still very powerful. The ending was funny,I felt bad for Simpson and Clare,Holly.J,Sav,Eli.

    Overall,the best episode of Degrassi.
  • The season finale of the Boiling Point.

So this episode was a HUGE disappointment, I know I shouldn't rate this episode just because it didn't fill my expectations because that would be biased, but this was just WAY too over hyped. And they got all these characters in these almost go-there situations. Such as Alli being in a situation in which she could have been raped by Owen. But did that happen? Nope. Fitz pulls a knife on Eli, but does Eli get stabbed? Nope. It ALMOST went there. And for a finale, that just isn't going to cut it, nope, not in my book. And why would Fitz stab the wall? It just didn't make sense. Holly J wearing Fiona's costume for Sav was nice, then they get caught. I'll give this episode one thing. Good setup for "the big changes" the school will have next season. But it just definitely was not what I was expecting, and it was just such a disappointment, in all places.
  • "The boiling point". The title says it all.

Personally I didn't think this episode was a disappointed. The boiling point means that things get hotter and hotter every episode and the direction succeeded in doing so. The first episodes of the season were okay but the few last ones were even better, more intriguing also. And this finale was very finale-like. Intriguing, making us want more. There is nothing like "too over-hyped". I found it sad that Drew and Ali ended with just a stare at the end of the episode. Sav and Holly J are simply amazing together. I love them. They have this on set chemistry, although Eli and Clare are my favorite couple. Munro Chamber(Eli)'s acting has always been true to his character, which made it even more dramatic in the stabbing scene, and seeing how Clare was determined to save Eli and how she was scared for him. And I loved how Eli pushed Clare away when Fitz was close, so she wouldn't get hurt.

    This episode was simply amazing.
  • Was it what everyone expected? No. Did it jump the shark? Absolutely not.

Alright I'm first going to comment on the episode, then on the people's reactions. Ok first, it was a good episode, not great but solid. Drew and Ali's plot ended in an interesting way, decent acting from Melinda and there were high emotions. A rape plot would have been nice, but realistic...not really, plus it's been done before what's going to happen to Ali is something new, it's all out in the open she could get busted for prostitution even if nothing happened, and for the first time I actually did feel sympathy for Ali, she didn't deserve that treatment from Mrs. Torres. Clare/Eli/Fitz was intense and to be honest I'm glad that Fitz didn't stab Eli, what Eli did afterwords was tense enough to fool Clare and that's all that needed to happen. I know a lot of people wanted to see Eli get stabbed, but once again it's just another re-hash of JT's plot. The fact that Clare, the good girl for the entire time she was there was one of the two main causes of the reason why everything will change next semester is shocking enough to me. Holly J and Sav were just stupid, plain and simple, granted they didn't realize the school was in lockdown but really? A striptease in school? As President and VP? Not the greatest of decisions. So overall, a good, not great episode but very interesting foreshadowing to the next half of the season.
  • Alli finds out that Drew was in the boiler room with Bianca and she tries to get even. Eli gets Fitz really mad to the extreme. Sav and Holly J. meet in the theatre.

This episode was pretty intense, but at the same time dissapointing! Bianca telling Alli that her and Drew did more than just kiss was very dramatic. Melinda Shankar had some really good tears in this episode. It was very interesting when Owen said that he would pay to have sex with Alli. It would have made for an interesting prositution storyline. Then, it seemed as if he was going to rape her, and I thought that would be even more intense, but then Drew interrupted everything. If it was real life, then thank goodness, Drew interrupted everything. Fitz with a knife going after Eli was very intense. I really thought that Fitz stabbed Eli, but then Fitz just stabbed the wall, so it wasn't all intense as I thought it would be. The Holly J. and Sav storyline was done right. It was all dramatic with Holly J. giving Sav a lap dance and stripping for him. I give this episode a 9/10 because a lot of the scenes were intense even though the results were a bit dissappointing.
