One of the best episodes of this season, this two parter is focused on one of the new characters from last season: Riley Stavros. A really great episode, this episode shows that even though Degrassi has done the guy dealing with being gay before, it shows that they can do it differently the second time around.

Mix Riley's anger problem with him not wanting to be gay we've got a terrific episode. The one plot that was a bit of a hit and miss was definitely Anya's plot. Is this common in high school students? LARPing? I have never heard of that until now, and it was just to strange for Degrassi.

Anya deserves better plots, not LARPing. A really solid cliffhanger with Riley punching out his lifeguard instructor who is gay and everyone watching. Agiris Karras doesn't deserve an Oscar for his performance, but he still did an acceptable job for a fresh Canadian actor. Great episode, amazing cliffhanger.

Riley Stravos has problems when people suspect he is gay This makes him violent towards others. Riley tries to prove he isn't gay by having sex with his girlfriend. But they subsequently break up because of Riley's sudden interest in having sex. At the end of the episode Riley beats up someone- a gay making people think of him as a gay-basher.

I liked this one, it was interesting to see someone on TV deal with the issue of being gay and not have it be in a comedy show. Overall, an A+ is certainly what this episode deserves IMO
  • Riley is pretending to be straight. Anya is into LARPing. Dave has a crush on Jenna.

Awesome episode. Riley gets the A plot in this episode. I love all the drama with him pretending to be straight. I hated how he treated Fiona though, and Chante. His boner at the beginning of the episode was funny. I didn't like how he punched his swim team teacher. Anya B-plot was awesome. LARPING is definitely something Degrassi hasn't dealt with. I love how Leia gets all into it. Dave C plot was interesting. His character is kind of annoying just always trying to get a girlfriend. I can't believe he would just assume that she's his girlfriend. I loved seeing the Degrassi Community School. It reminds me of Degrassi Junior High. I give this episode a 8.5/10.
