  • Jimmy reveals a problem that he's been dealing with since the shooting.

    9.0
"Can't Hardly Wait" is an awesome Degrassi episode! This is the first time since season 4 in which I really liked a Jimmy plot. For once, it wasn't about Jimmy being whiny and hating everyone around him, it was about something personal that he's dealing with. This episode reveals that Jimmy suffers from erectile dysfunction ever since the shooting, which is a storyline that should have be done earlier, but I'm not complaining. I love the subplot in this episode because something useful actually happens. A new girl Mia auditions for Spirit Squad and gets rejected when Darcy founds out she has child. Anyways, I love this subplot because it's the start of the Degrassi versus Lakehurst feud and it furthers the storyline. I give this episode a 9/10.moreless
  • Jimmy can't get it up.

    8.0
The war between Lakehurst & Degrassi begins in this episode, as they have a school fight started by Mia & Darcy. I thought Darcy was being too hard on Mia, and right after she patches things up with Manny she has to do something like kick poor Mia off the squad just because of her kid. The Darcy vs. Manny thing being revived was fun to watch. Unfortunately, Mia doesn't end up making the team. The fight was awesome though! Ugh, the thing that brought the rating down was the A plot. Ashley in S6-S7 is always her & Jimmy plots, she always has to be the eye candy on Jimmy's arm, they break up because Jimmy doesn't want to be a virgin anymore, but they get back together as Ashley says they're other "ways" to make love. The way she said that creeped me out a bit. Well this is the beginning of the end for Ashley Kerwin's character, all they do is butcher her for the rest of the series. Everything else was good, the B plot made up for it.moreless

Jimmy and Ashley want to have sex, but Jimmy soon realizes that he can't because of his disability. Jimmy goes to therapy to get in fitter shape and still nothing. Ashley tells him that they can express their love in other ways.

Meanwhile Darcy and Manny clash over cheer and it's new member Mia from Lakehurst. Dun dun dunnn.

I enjoyed this episode. it was one of the best episodes in season 6 and I thought it was very nicely written and I love the Jimmy/Ashley relationship. I thought it was rude of Darcy to call Mia those rude names and I loved how Manny stood up for her.moreless
  • Man-Plot: Jimmy and his now girlfriend Ashley want to start having sex but Jimmy discovers because of his disability he couldn't and worries that he can not be the man Ashley wants him to be.moreless

    9.8
This episode had to be one of the strongest episode through-out Season 6. Everything seems to fall into place and nothing was rushed. Degrassi set the bar when Jimmy and Ashley were about to have their sex scene showing Ashley with limiting clothing and Jimmy as well. The story line was well organized and it was about time they gave Jimmy a situation where he had to deal with the troubles of being a teenage boy and also being in a wheelchair instead of complaning about it. I know I'm not the only one who thought "can he have sex while he is in the wheelchair" One of the best episode this season. Aubrey and Melissa have great onscreen chemistry.moreless
  • Probably one the strongest episodes of the season.

    10
In this episode Jimmy and Ashley want to get physically closer to express their love, but Jimmy seems to be having problems in that area. The storyline was great and together with the subplot this episode was def. one of Season 6's best. Had all of the episodes followed this formula, it would have been a great season. It was also nice to see Ashley in the main plot, Melissa did an amazing job and it clearly showed. The Manny/Darcy subplot with the introduction of Mia was excellent. It was the best intro for a character since Jay and Alex in Season 3. I recommend this episode to anyone looking for an good Season 6 episode.moreless
