The penultimate two-parter begins, and it definitely starts on a high note. It's great to see how amazingly a story line developed over the course of one very long season. From the season 10 premiere in which Fiona got hit by Bobby to what it seems like the end of the road: Bobby is proven guilty 40 installments later.

Another Alli story line? Seriously? She's had all the story lines since Degrassi's return. Anyways, regardless of the Alli overload, it was nice to see Clare & Alli reunite, and it was nice to see a scene with Clare that did NOT involve Eli.

Finally, one of the most underused characters on Degrassi finally get a story line tonight. Degrassi tackles sexual harassment and it involves Anya & Owen? A very odd pairing, but I really liked their interactions. We all know that Anya likes Dr. Chris, but I wouldn't mind seeing Owen & Anya become a thing in the foreseeable future. The end was quite unexpected, can't wait for the next episode.moreless

Fiona has completed rehab, just in time for her to go up against Bobby in her trial. At first, it may look like Fiona will lose, and Bobby will get a way with hurting her. However, in a surprise twist, we learnt hat Tinsley was assaulted by Bobby for talking to another boy at a party they went to. Fiona wins her trial!

Anya does not like Owen, and he creeps her out. They are in the same CPR group, but Anya inadvertently gets him kicked for complaining to Mr. Armstrong. Owen apologizes for his behavior, can Anya forgive him?

Alli and Clare try to get the other grade 10's ready for a standardized math test. If they do bad on it, Simpson could get fired as principal.

Good episode. The Fiona plot was handled nicely. I wonder if Owen will come back in future episodes. Be interesting if him and Anya started a thing. Alli's plot bored me a little, but the other two plots were handled really nicely, so my final grade is an A+moreless
  • Fiona faces Bobby in court based on her abuse allegations.

    9.0
    "Superb"
Fiona is released from rehab just as her case against Bobby moves to court. With Declan and her father away, Fiona asks Holly J. to tag along and be part of her support system along with her mom. Bobby tries to pay Fiona $100,000 to settle, but she refuses to give up - putting to use the tequniques she learned in rehab from keeping the trial from triggering her drinking. The case starts off to a slow start, but Tinsley, who is now Bobby's girlfriend, comes forward to say that Bobby has also hit her, earning Fiona the favor and winning the case. Joyful over overcoming her abuser, Fiona grabs Holly J. and kisses her on the lips saying she couldn't have done it without her.

Alli returns to Degrassi and strives to do well in a standardized math test.

Anya is creeped out when Owe touches her in CPR class.

The main plot was extremely compelling. I loved how most of the episode took place in court and how Tinsley came to the forefront and admitted that Bobby hit her as well. The only negative thing I have to say is that at the end wish Fiona would've just said thank you to Tinsley and that's it. I don't necessarily love how they ended it with her kissing Holly J. on the lips in public just so they had a bridge to cross over in part 2. The Alli subplot was strange and almost to the point of terrible. The Anya/Owen subplot was interesting. Overall, this episode brought me great satisfaction to a storyline I had been wishing to see since "What A Girl Wants: Parts 1 and 2"moreless
  • Fiona gets out of rehab and attends her court trial against Bobby. Anya takes CPR and Owen makes her feel uncomfortable. Alli returns to Degrassi.

Mega-awesome episode! I love how Fiona actually admitted to being an alcoholic in rehab. Her trial against Bobby was so intense. I hated Bobby and Bobby's lawyer. They made Fiona look like she was a crazy girl. I was completely shocked that Tinsley admitted that Bobby had hit her too. I am so glad that Fiona won the trial. I love how Fiona kisses Holly J. on the lips at the end of the trial. I think this 100% confirms that Fiona is lesbian. Anya had an interest plot. Owen harassed her and so she tells Mr. Armstrong and he gets kicked out of CPR. I think it's interesting how he has feelings for Anya, and he apologizes to her saying that if he made her uncomfortable, she should have said something because he would have stopped. I love Alli's return to Degrassi. I find her plot very odd. It seems so weird that Miss Oh tells her that math standardization test scores reflect the teachers and principals and could get Mr. Simpson fired. I hope this plot becomes more clear and understandable. I give this episode a 9/10.moreless
