  • Hazel and JT have a secret.

"Don't Believe The Hype" is a great Degrassi episode. This is the first episode that centers around Hazel. I love how this episode deals with racism and Hazel accepting herself. She's Muslim and she doesn't want anyone to know. By the end of the episode, I love how she accepts herself, and she's willing to tell her classmates all about Somalia where she's from. The JT/Liberty plot was entertaining. I love how JT can sew and Liberty can't. I love how Liberty blacksmails JT into doing her sewing projects. But it was cute how the girls wanted JT to sew things for them at the end of the episode. I give this episode a 9/10.moreless
  • Hazel was a b*tch!

    "Mediocre"
This episode wasn't that bad, I really enjoyed it. I thought it was great that Hazel was realizing who she really was and she had to live with the fact that she is muslim; however, the way she treated Fareeza was absolutely horrible. the terorist ticket, the rude war on iraq statements were unacceptable and I couldn't believe that Hazel said that stuff and about her own Religion too!

I liked the Jt/Liberty sublot alot. Jt acts like he hates her in other epsiodes, yet in this epsiode, he's nice to her and let's her get an A on his project.moreless
  • This episode makes me hate Hazel

Hazel is embarassed of who she is and she makes fun of others because of this. Her heritage makes her feel as if no one will accept her. I think that she is incredibly materialistic in this episode and it makes me hate her. It is really not worth seeing unless you want to see Hazel be completely awful to other people.
