Main Plot: Alli tries to find a way to make her parent's trust her again

After Alli and Bianca physically fight, they are brought into the principals office and both suspended. Alli's parents are called and they find her file with all the bad things she has done since coming into the show in season 8. Furious, they say they don't know who she is anymore. Alli makes a decision to regain her parent's trust that will change her world forever. Since boys seem to make her do stupid things, she should leave Degrassi and go to an all girls school.

Alli, Alli, Alli. Why can't you just accept your own mistakes without blaming them on boys? I am glad that Degrassi has seemed to use continuity in this episode (bringing up events such as sexting and the STD scare from previous seasons), but it is nothing new. Degrassi has always brought up moments of past seasons in discussion between characters. The truth is, Alli had to leave - both for the actress's sake (she is working on another show before returning to Degrassi at the end of the season) and for the character's sake. By leaving, Alli will grow as a persona and hopefully return with storylines that have to do with other things than just boys. Plus, this leave of absence should give Clare some time to claim the spotlight!

"Don't Let Me Get Me: Part 2" Main Plot Grade - A+

Subplot: Jenna doesn't know what to do when she is sent home from Next Teen Star

Jenna is sent home from Next Teen Star despite her shocking revelation of her pregnancy and doesn't know what to do. K.C. still doesn't want anything to do with the baby, and Jenna doesn't know if she wants to keep it. But K.C.'s mom says she will help.

While im glad they sent Jenna home from Next Teen Star so early, this plot still annoyed me. I have never liked Jenna or K.C. and don't think I ever will.

Better than the last episode, but still not good enough. I'll give this episode props for the last emotional scene with Clare and Alli, but that's about it, the girl fight was good too but by the end, it seemed unimportant considering this episode wasn't even focused on Bianca.

Like I said before, Alli is the most annoying character on television and for once the Teennick promos aren't misleading and Alli actually leaves Degrassi, maybe a couple episodes without Melinda Shankar will do this show good, we definitely got an Alli overload in this episode.

I'm so glad this whole "Teen Star" thing is over, I was honestly wondering if this show had jumped the shark, finally the writers are focusing on the pregnancy, not some ridiculous game show. Better than the premiere, but overall not an enjoyable return to Degrassi. Hoping next episode will be better.
  • Alli and Bianca get into a fight which leads to Alli's most important decision ever. Jenna is not the next teen star.

Amazing episode! The episode wrapped up everything about the character Alli that hadn't been resolved since season 8. The Bianca/Alli catfight was so intense. Those girls can really fight. Bianca's first punch sounded so tough. Anyways, what I mean about everything about her character has been resolved I meant, she was changing clothes at school, dating boys, sexting, got HPV shots, and now her parents finally find out about it. I find it so so interesting how she wants to go to an all girls school. The Goodbye scene between Clare and Alli was so sad. I love how Jenna used the pregnancy to try to stay out of the bottom two, but then she ends up going home anyways. I give this episode a 9.5/10.
