Degrassi: The Next Generation

Part one of the season finale of Degrassi was quite satisfying. Opens up a lot of possible story lines for the actual finale. We still have some things left untied, I just hope the writers get it done right and not make it The Eli & Clare Show (which is what this season has been, pretty much).



When I found out the season 10 finale was focused on Clare & Eli, I was quite disappointed, but at the rate things are headed, this has the potential of being a successful finale. The Sav/Holly J scenes were long overdue. Nothing was wrong with this couple, but I'm sure the fans weren't "feeling it" either.



I'm pretty sure Fiona's feelings will come to light in the next episode. I'm also pretty sure Degrassi will decide to take the cliche route and have Jenna have the baby in the season finale. Looking forward in seeing what happens next, great episode overall.

Terrific episode! ELI IS CRAZY! I love how Clare and even Ms Dawes is creeped out by his writing. The ending of the episode was so awesome with Eli taking out his gun and the shooting the picture of his ex-girlfriend. Holly J. breaking up with Sav was a little sad because Sav was the best boyfriend ever to her. Anyways, I love how Fiona comes out to Anya and Anya figures out that Fiona's in love with Holly J. That's interesting that Jenna's allowing Dave to throw K.C. a type of bachelor party. I know some drama will go down at that bachelor party. I seriously can't wait for the season finale! I give this episode a 9/10.

Eli starts worrying about his relationship with Clare, and so he invites her to a gothic fiction reading convention thing during their spring break. Clare agrees to go, but she only agrees because she knows it will make him happy. She then realizes it has almost 2 years (or one, depending on when this episode takes place, year wise) since Julia died. Eli gets frustrated, really frustrated, and shoots and destroys an old picture of him and Julia, claiming that Julia is the reason Clare is mad at him.



Holly J. tries to find a way to break it off with Sav. She hears Anya tell how Sav will not defend her in front of his parents, so Holly J introduces herself as Sav's girlfriend, thinking his parents will force them to split. But, his parents actually encourage him dating her. Will Holly J and Sav break up?



Jenna does not know whether or not KC is ready to be a teen parent. Is he?



Good episode. Of course, the main plot interested me the most but the rest of the episode was nice too. I hope Jenna just has her baby sometime soon. Seriously can't wait till next week to see what will happen in the finale. A+ episode
