Degrassi: The Next Generation

In the season finale of "In Too Deep", Eli promises to give Clare the space she has requested, but his need to be with her grows far too intense, and it leads to him crashing Morty, his hearse. Will they get back together?

Good episode but kind of underwhelming. I was expecting more. I think a better 'cliffhanger' to the episode would be after we hear the crash, and the episode ending there. And I kinda expected Jenna's baby's gender to not be revealed in this episode. Still pretty good and suspenseful in parts. B+ or so as a grade

So here we are, the end of the tenth season of Degrassi. Degrassi definitely reached a milestone this year what with the new format and reaching it's 200th episode so I commend the show for that. The finale could have been better though.



I'm sure I can speak for everyone when I say that I'm so tired of Clare & Eli. Or just the character Eli in general. Hopefully we see less of their story lines next year. I liked the concept of the "manipulative boyfriend" thing though.



Jenna having her baby in the season finale was the most cliche thing I have ever seen but KC accidentally getting handcuffed to Bianca, now that was noteworthy. Anya's story line wasn't resolved this year with her and Dr. Chris. Holly J/Fiona closeout also could have been better. Overall, well-done finale, but as usual, I was letdown by the finale overall.

Awesome season finale! Eli is just completely crazy! It was so intense how he got into a car crush on purpose. I can't believe he did that just so Clare would visit him. I can't believe how insane he was after the car crash. I mean he acted as if he never happened. I'm glad that Clare broke up with Eli. Clare being manipulated by Eli was interesting storyline. I wonder if Eli will get diagnosed with something next season. I love how Anya tells Holly J. that Fiona is in love with her. It makes me wonder if Fiona was in love with Holly J. since Degrassi Takes Manhattan. Anyways, I'm glad that they remained friends by the end of the episode. KC's party was so funny. I loved how he handcuffed himself to Bianca. Finally, Jenna's water broke and she had her baby. I can't wait until next season! I give this episode a 9.5/10.
