So randomly I searched this dvd up on Amazon.com because I remember the people over at EchoBridge Ent. E-mailing me saying that the dvd release for pt.2 would be out around (end of Aug/Late Sept.) and heres what I found...

Still no BluRay. Hoping it would magically appear around this time as a whole ALL OF SEASON 10 set.

On the plus side, it seems like the DVD is being made by the same company in the US & Canada now, and both are going to be 2 discs.

Or maybe not, there are 2 listings on Amazon.ca for the part 2 release. One is the US version and one is the canada version. and both links for part 1 on Amazon.ca say "2 discs" for season 10...i thought Canada had 4 right?

yea, canada had four discs and they had disc covers on one side. americans had 2 dics that had episodes double sided. and i cant even play these discs on my laptop..usually i can with the past seasons.

I'm sure there will be two releases for this set, I doubt alliance is going to stop releasing the sets over here in Canada.

I don't understand why they took so long to release the DVDs. They should have released The Boiling Point last fall, and then Fall/In Too Deep in June or July. Kind of annoying.

Also, I hope the Canadian version isn't two discs as well. I bought the Canadian version of Season 10, Part 1 and was happy with the quality and four disc set. Either way, I'm sure it will be higher quality than the American release, because Echo Bridge's quality began to drop after the Season 8 DVD. I also hope there's more extras this time around, Part 1 was pretty bare bones.

im not gonna get "ITD" the season was terrible. 1st time im not gonnas get the dvd for degrassi. although im probably not gonna get season 11 dvd either. this season has been semi-solid, but we are almost or i think half way through and i havent seen anything too great.

I dont hate the show. i like the show, i just have had a hard time trying like the show. like i have said before, i think i am just outgrowing the show. but their have been sum redeeming moments in this season.

Good points

- anya and coke

- the seasons opener

- holly J and her illness

- part of connors underwear fetish

- Adam

- katie/marisol friendship

- eli/imogen

- zileys final scenes

- main casts playing background characters.

- eli (was really good in "Lovegames")

Bad Points

-clare's character has been butchered

- k.c/jenna and their carless relationship problems (i feel like the writers want us to feel bad for jenna but i still feel like we know nothing about her, besides she is a peppy singer whos a cheerleader. at least with Mia we felt sorry for her at times and she tried to make the best out of what she had most of the time.)

- dave/alli (I like them, but together..still uneasy about them

- clare/jake/eli saga is annoying (clearly this was made for the female watchers)

- fiona/charlie (I like them and i like that we are getting a break from them, but this seems to drag a little compared to her in S10.)

let me know what u think of my comments. are my opinions off?

I made my Degrassi Season 10 DVD as it aired in HD during it's original cycle last Summer 2010. It's funny to me to think back to when I awaited their DVD releases. I've watched my 8 discs of the 44 episodes in Season 10 so many times since it aired last July.

Season 11 is already a fantastic 3-disc set.

I'm a screenwriter so I have a laptop equipped to do anything picture/video/media related. So making DVDs is soooo easy. And fun. I personally think my DVD menus and set-up are better than the official DVD releases

I have all the seasons besides season 1 on dvd.im not gonna buy the degrassi dvd's anymore.because i feel like the seasons arent worth buying anymore. TBP was good, but the originals were the golden years, the seasons worth getting on dvd. --I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN BUYING YOUR DVD'S IF U WERE TOO MAKE THEM. WOULD U BE INTERESTED IN MAKING SOME FOR SOME OF US HER ON THE FORUM???

sorry to double post. (Wanted a seperate response)

I would be interested in buying your dvd's aswell, if you decide to do them. I used to try and make dvd on my laptop. but i either dont have the right software downloaded or the wrong DVD length to hold all the eps.
