There has been alot of ridiculous and unnecessary things happening to her examples:

- Boiler Room incident

- Parents having her on lock down

- The virginity thing with Johnny

- Dave

- She lost her best friend ( although I dont like Claire anyways)

- The random Gambling problem

- Being a Runaway

Seriously why her?

I'm not 100% positive but I'm pretty sure that for the last couple of years, the writers have been writing Alli's plot so they can accommodate Melinda Shankar's schedule since she stars in another Canadian series called How To Be Indie. I actually have enjoyed most of Alli's plots until season 11 Part 1 when I started not to care for them. I have a feeling in the second half her plots will be more interesting.

^ Agreed. I like when Alli is stable but not when she plays a puppet to Clare. Sometimes I just want to smack Alli for having no backbone and never standing up to Clare. I hope in season 11.5 she will, the infamous emma V.s Many in the hallway scene was classic.

^ A 1000 TIMES YES. I want Ali to confront Clare she needs a reality check anyways, and it would be a nice way to cater to the old fans if they revamp that scene.

can i just say, I LOVED manny and emma arguments...and they didnt always become friends by the end of each episode. sometimes they didnt talk for many episodes. just watched "U got the look" and i love the interaction between the two of them.

Ihonestly dont know how people didnt like emma back then. (season 8/9 was not emma, that was some random person who was untouchable with punishment, or rhyme or reason). People hated her character, and i dont understand it. she may have been a little bossy at times, but i've seen people one degrassi forums say that they love clare over emma, IN WHAT WORLD?!

I actually don't think Alli has no back backbone wen it comes to clare, at least it didn't START out that way. Yo, i want Imogen or Fionna to **** Clare's **** up!

^ ive seen posts (not on here mainly) but on other forums where people say how they "love" clare, and bash emma to shreds. till this day, Emma (to me) is the show. point-blank-period. her character fell off after season 7 but up until then i loved how her character was written, and I dont want to get started about how much of an INCREDIBLE actress she was on the show (not including episodes after season 7 and on.) her character became a robot, but she cried on cue and everything, great. i wish we saw a little more of her in season 7.unfortunately, we saw a lot of her and Sean in season 6 and it was lackluster.

I used to. around season 8-10 I thought Clare was way better than Emma.

as of the end of Season 10, I hate both equally

yea, i lost interest in Emma in season 8 and on. clare i liked in season 8-TBP, then she got annoying, and how i HATE her.
