Which character in all of degrassi has had it the worst? Rick and Jimmy are excluded for obvious reasons.

Clare. It's tragic how unintelligent she has become.

lol true I dont like her character anymore and I think its because 95% of her plotlines come from over-dramatic relationships.( KC,Eli, and Jake)

I think the most tragic character besides jimmy has to be Spinner because he has been through a lot in his life and made a lot of mistakes but ends up coming out on top in the end!

I'd say Spin too. His cancer storyline just made his life a whole lot threatening. As well as Alli, although she brings everything upon herself, but DLMGT was really emotional and powerful.

100% clare.... then alli, she can be so likeable at times but for the last like 2 seasons she has just become like a "dumb blonde" about everything. people think because alli is NOW playing a supportive character that she is now SO MATURE. She hasnt even transitioned into a mature, level headed character. the writers just decide to make her mature when they feel that they need "someone to be the balance" when it comes to jenna or clare.

Well, there's Craig. Just because his dad beat him.

Sean's also up there, but as of season 6, it's more of a "You deserve to get your ass rammed by Bubba in the shower after that level of stupidity." thing.

I'm also thinking Paige. Raped, and we still don't know if she got AIDS or not. (Not the same incident, before any n00bs ask.)

But I would say Spinner. Rejected by all his friends, then cancer, and worst of all, marrying Emma.

What about JT? He had to put up with Liberty and then died in a puddle of pee after being stabbed. He also never got any from Manny.

Ellie's story from start to finish was heart-breaking. I love Ellie and always will. The girl who never found the love she yearned for.

^ I completely agree. Even though her season 5 + story lines are criticized because of how much she changed, I still rooted for her. She may have distanced herself from the goth image and become more outwardly bubbly, but she was still pretty lost on the inside, and that made her transition believable to me. She was always one of my favorites and her story really was quite tragic.

Doesn't help much that Craig/Ellie was so obviously forced that it was pure fail. Granted, I feel the same about the decision to revisit Craig/Manny.

why are poeple sopooo hung-up in crellie. i thought they were a great pairing. people hated ellie soo much in season 5 and idk why. if anthing she was most OOC in season 6...season 5 she just matured. but in season 6 she became this preppy looking, dumb girl. then she went back to being AMAZING in season 7.

I just said that both Crellie and Cranny were fail.

The fail isn't so much the chemistry per se, as much as it's that they should know better. In fact, we have conclusive proof that Ellie does know better, from season 4.

This. they had chemistry, it was just a dumb pairing from a logic standpoint. hell any pairing with Craig was dumb, from a logical standpoint, from season 4 on.

I beg to differ... I think that from the stand point of a Craig fan, it was an extremely logical pairing. Craig was forever messing things up and making bad choices. Ashley stuck by him through alot, I'll give her that, but she couldn't handle him in the long run. She was too self absorbed (i.e Breaking up with him by a text message on his birthday from England because she met another guy). Manny was quick to leave him as well (She made no attempt to get him help for the coke). Ellie stood by him through everything, and didn't hold a grudge against him for his mistakes. She was the only one who actually forced him to get help. Even back in season 4, she was a hell of a lot more understanding with his bi-polar disorder than Ashley was. (See the episode where he joins her therapy group). From an Ellie fan's point of view, it's not that good of a pairing (Although DGH was a pretty good episode for them). I'm a huge fan of both, but I personally ship it (although I admit it definately has its pros and cons).

But he's so bishie. Squee! (God, 99% of the time, I expect Craig to bishie-sparkle.)

But I generally assume that after the shooting, the writers got into Craig's cocaine.

Ashley. character downgrade by season 4, moves to England and does not finish senior year. moves back to finish, becomes Jimmy's b*tch, then follows Craig once again to pursue a singing career. and does not finish senior year even when she is halfway done. talk about tragic.
