  • Paige continues to have panic attacks and drops out of Banting.

"Free Fallin' Part 2 is a great Degrassi episode. It's just as good as part 1. Paige's panic attacks continue to get more intense. I think in this episode Paige gets caught when she hands in paper she got from online. I'm actually glad that Paige drops out of Banting. I just wish She would apply to University of Toronto and restart everything since she doesn't want to give them her transcripts. I love Palex! And I just wish they started dating in this episode instead of at the end of the season. I don't remember the subplot too much, but I think Peter and Darcy officially start dating. I love them as a couple, so I'm glad they get together. I give this episode a 10/10.moreless
  • Part 2 of Paige's Banning saga...

So it is clear that the stress of her freshman year is getting to Paige. It is also clear that she wasn't going to get her work in Statistics done. Paige was VERY lucky when she got caught in plagarism. In real life, she would have not gotten an 0 but expelled from school. And probably not allowed back into any other college. She should be glad she was just allowed to withdraw from school.

I hope Paige just starts over in the summer or fall in Toronto. And that she figures herself out before she gets into a relationship. Although it looks like she is jumping into that with Spinner/Jesse/Alex.

The Darcy/Peter thing bored me to tears. You just know because she is the "good Christian girl" and he is the "bad boy" that they are going to get together.

Overall, good conclusion but I am wanting to know what is going on with the other characters. Especially Liberty, Jimmy, Ashley, and Toby.moreless
  • This episode reveals a totally different side of Paige.

When Paige was in high school, she seemed like one of those popular head cheerleaders with no brains. But the thing is she did have brains. She was very intelligent and she was talking about going to Banting University, and when she was planning on going, alot of people assumed that she would just walk through college. Now we see her struggling in college and she misses her friends back in Canada. She tries to transfer to Toronto University but it doesn't work out, so she strarts to break down. Meanwhile, Peter tries to have a relationship with Darcy but she say it won't work out because of her busy schedule. Then, because of the trouble that Peter is in, he agrees that it won't work out because now he's always busy doing things he's being forced to do because of his probation.moreless
  • Really shows Paige in a way we haven't seen her before.

This episode was really good. I liked the Paige and Alex kiss and I thought that they should hook up again but they won't because i heard she'll be with Spinner. I liked that Paige had to tell everything to her mom and how she was like yeah i burned down my dorm. Honestly i figured the famous Paige Mickalchuk would have been able to handle college but i guess you just never really know. I also like the Peter Darcy couple they look good together and i can only imagine how long until Peter screws up everything. I can't wait until next week and for many many for degrassi episodes to come.moreless
  • The deadline for Paige's 20 page paper is approaching and she is stuck between a rock and a hard place...

Paige has been overly stressed and has failed to do her homework. She desperately searches for a quick solution. A dorm fire caused by Paige doesn't seem to help matters. She ends up buying an online term paper only to find out that the teacher has had the paper several times before. In the midst of a break down she leaves to Toronto in search for some happy. Here she seeks Alex who is out on a date with Carla. Alex and Carla happened to have a genuine connection. I actually enjoyed their banter. Finally, Paige stays at Alex's place and tells her that she is the only one that knows how she feels, with that she kisses Alex off guard. Alex is slightly confused and leaves. The next morning Paige brushes off the kiss and goes to apply at the University, however, she fails at the transfer. She continues to lie to all her friends but Alex is no fool. She soon finds out that Paige has failing grades and she is upset that she has been made a fool. Later we find out that she called Paige's mom to inform her. Paige feels betrayed as does Alex. They both get through quickly as they realize that each one was trying not to hurt the other. Paige did not want to appear like a loser because she feels Alex looks up to her and Alex wants Paige to get through this dilemma as well. Paige asks her what she should do. More importantly, Alex responds "What do you want to do?" Quite frankly, that is the million dollar question. Paige has been pretending for so long, she felt as she was having panic attacks. In a way, Alex did help her. The fact that her mom knows will make Paige's transition back to Degrassi simpler, albeit, complex. The potential for Paige/Alex hook up is everywhere as they both continue to bond. The B story was kind of cute. I actually enjoyed the Darcy/Peter story this go around. Peter believes to be reformed and Darcy takes it as his savior. There is actual chemistry between the two. It's funny though, the little devil with the little angel hook-up.moreless
