Emma is shocked to find out her mom is dating Mr. Simpson. Emma claims she's okay with it, but if that's true, why is she suddenly being so rude to Mr. Simpson? Meanwhile, the competition heats up as Emma and Manny vie for Craig's attention, and Spinner and Jimmy compete in the break-dancing contest of all contests.

emma acts up when she learns her mother is dating mr. simpson. she and manny crash a dance at the school and she learns that her crush, craig, likes manny, when she thought he liked her. things are changing for emma, can she handle all these changes?

good episode, not the best ever but it was certainly a good, enjoyable way to spend 22 minutes. it got boring near the end but it wasn't too boring or anything. my overall grade for this episode is in the high "B" range, a good episode but could've been a little better methinksmoreless

"Great"

This isn't one of my favorite episodes but it is pretty funny! I like that Jimmy and Spinner are so competitive that they both must sabotage each other. Spinner's was funny because of that awful music and Jimmy's was hilarious because of the rip pants. It's also cool how Emma and Manny get in to the senior dance with Craig's help but it sucks for Emma when they both find out that Craig actually likes Manny when he asks to dance with her. Another thing that is aggravating to Emma is finding Snake and Spike making out. If it wasn't bad enough getting her heart broken, having to see her mother and her teacher lip locking was enough to make her pissed. Poor Emma!

But it was still a really funny!

Wow this was an intersting episode of Degrassi: The Next Generation. I really enjoyed it. Emma's mom tells Emma she's dating Mr. Simpson. I think it's cool that Emma's mom is dating Mr. Simpson. He is really cool for a teacher. I liked that she sneeked out of the house to crash the dance. It showed the rebelious side of her. I can't beleive Craig choose Manny. I would never think he would do that because it always seemed like he had something for Emma. Jimmy's pants ripping while dancing was funny and Spinner not getting the right music was hilarious. Marco was in this episode but I didn't really get to see his face.moreless

This is my favorite episode of "Degrassi: The Next Generation". Emma learns something about her mother that she really doesn't want to hear. Emma and Manny decide to have a little fun. They crash the senior's dance at Degrassi, and finally we learn Craig's true feelings toward Manny. Emma goes home, upset, only to be angered when she sees her mother and Snake together.
I really like this episode because it shows that girls really do wanna have fun. Named after my favorite song from the 80's, this is a great episode. Miriam McDonald does a good job in this episode. All in all, one of the best episodes in the Degrassi series.moreless

The only thing we learn in this episode that is somewhat important, is that Spike (Emma's mom) is dating Snake (her teacher). Everything else is not really worth watching. The costumes are pretty cool but the whole dance contest with Jimmy and Spinner is just really stupid. Other than Spike telling Emma that she is dating her teacher, the episode is not worth watching. Also, its good to see that Emma is upset because Craig asks Manny to dance instead of Emma. But Manny is obviously a terrible friend since she accepts his offer. All in all, not really worth watching.moreless
