In the sixth season opener, a new school year has started and Sean is back in town. Peter and Emma seem to be happy that is until Sean returns to Degrassi. Peter is having mixed emotions with not knowing what is happening with him and Emma and also dealing with becoming the new person in the street scene. Meanwhile Marco is overwhelmed with moving in with Dylan and throwing Paige a going away party.

In this episode we find out that Emma likes to knit to deal with stress. This must run in the family as we find out that both her mother and her father Knit for the same reasons that she does.
In this episode, Emma has taken up knitting to deal with stress. We learned in the season 3 episode "Father Figure" that Emma's biological father, Shane McKay, also knits as a way of dealing with stress and impulse issues.
Spinner and Darcy get back together.
Sean: I'm with Jay now. Jay: Easy Brokeback Mountain, he means he's sleeping on my couch.
Manny: Sean Cameron, bench press has been so so good to you. Emma: I'm gonna tell Craig you said that. Manny: Feel free, if you can ever get him on the phone.
Jimmy: Looking fine, Miss Kerwin Ashley: Well, somebody's gotta make up for Spinner.
Manny: I'm gonna go say hi to Sean's biceps.
Darcy: Hey Paige, I guess I'm the only one not sorry to see you go. I know you had sex with Spinner last year, I thought you were above being a low grade ho. Guess I was wrong Paige: Sweetie, I would love to indulge your need to ruin my party with a full on catfight, but I'll pass. Save the drama for high school hon, I'm moving on.
Paige: Okay, I know Marco likes four sugars and Ellie takes her coffee black...like her soul. Ellie: Ohhh, how I'll miss your cutting jibes when you leave for Banting Paige. Not that I'm counting the days, but when? Paige: Can you count to two?
Spinner: (to Peter) Yo, Eminem, Where's D12?
Emma: I'm not some kind of slut. Peter: Could have fooled me.
Marco: Hi. I'm gay.
Sean: Let's teach this punk a lesson. Jay: Pain 101, my favorite subject.
Emma: Sean? Sean: Shh! Emma: What are you doing here? Sean: I screwed up Em, I screwed up real bad. Emma: Understatement of the century. The police are looking for you. Sean: I know, I know. That's why I need your help. You're the only one who cares. You're the only one who.... Emma: You're wrong. I don't care, Sean. I can't. Not anymore. You need to turn yourself in.
Jay: Is he still breathing? Sean: Yeah, where's that ambulance? Jay: Sean, listen to me you have to go. Sean: What? Jay: Peter is a minor, you're eighteen. You're gonna do hard time for this. Peter: Dude, don't listen to him. Jay: Am I talking to you? Sean, get in your car and drive. Go!
Jay: (seeing Emma) Oh Lord, forgive my sinful thoughts.
Emma: I have a boyfriend...I'm not that kind of girl.
Emma: (to Sean) You're back at Degrassi?
Sean: I gotta stop hanging out with you. Emma: I don't want you to stop. (passionate kiss)
Sean: (to Emma) I know what I want Emma.... and I think you do too.
