  • Sean street-races with Peter.

"Here Comes Your Man" part 2 is an excellent Degrassi episode. It's much better than part 1. This episode gets really intense when Sean hits a man while street-racing with Peter. It's heartbreaking that he was trying so hard to be good and now he's made one mistake and he has to turn himself in. It actually have respect for Sean for turning himself in. I actually enjoyed the subplot with Ellie's crazy roommate Amberly. I loved how Ellie wrote an article about her roommate and it was supposed to be anonymous but her name was left on it anyways, and her roommate kicks her out. I give this episode a 9/10.moreless
  • Same thing I said about part 1

There really isn\\\\\\\'t much to say about part 2 which is different from part 1, except that part 2 sucked just as horribly as part 1. I\\\\\\\'ll have more when we can review True Colours. Suffice it to say, Sean and Emma are still hella boring, this plot is still a bad fanfic, Miriam and Jamie are bad as usual, Jimmy and Spin tried to save the episode but it was just SO bad, and Daniel Clark left his talent in LA.

And what\\\\\\\'s really bad is, it took me two damn MONTHS to express my outrage at this episode because the moderators set it to the CTV date.moreless
  • Sean cameron in trouble ??? wow so shocking !!!

ok sean cameron back at degrassi he made out with em and get in trouble really !!! its a bit of deja vu for me and if sean listen again to the stupid advices of jay why watching this serie !!! it always the same perfet em in love with bad sean he gets in trouble i think they should stop airing degrassi if theres nothing new to see seriously they made us wait for that and even aired degrassi in us before CA the show isnt authentic anymore i loved because it was canadian now its like the average american tv how depressing really depressingmoreless
  • Things uhh...intensify between Sean and Emma and Peter is pissed. So the two guys street race for Emma and they kill a guy. Sean runs away and hides in Emma's basement and Emma becomes a bit*h and tells sean to turn himself in.moreless

Boring! written like a bad fanfiction. Acting was terrible! and the plot was a snore-fest! So in this epi, Peter becomes evil again and plants drugs in Sean's locker and calls his mommy to investigate. So his mommy investigates and suspends/expells Sean. Ok, so Sean is pissed and challenges Peter to a race and they kill a guy jogging the middle of the friken street (who jogs in the middle of a street at night). So Jay tells Sean to get his a*s in the car and drive. So Sean cleverly (sarcasm) hides in Emma's basement. He probably crawled through the same basment window that Emma crawled out during secrets! so then Emma finds him and becomes a total witch and tells Sean to turn himself in. And Sean is a slave to Emma so he turns himself in and gets arrested. And the sub-plot was just as boring...yawn!moreless
  • Enough Sean/Emma/Peter!

Emma falls more in love with sean and Peter doesn't like it so Peter and Sean drag race for Emma. For EMMA! Sean hits a jogger at night! What the hell was a jogger doing running at night?! anyway, they hit the jogger and jay comes and tells Sean to drive away leading to Sean going to jail for hit and run. So stupid of an episode. In the subplot, Ellie falls in love with a guy at her college. I have never been this disappointed in Degrassi. this was just as bad as the first part. Lame lines, out of characer, stupid.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • When Marco and Ellie are in the doorway talking, after she gets kicked out of her dorm, Dylan comes downstairs to see them and Marco turns to talk to him. Marco turns back to help Ellie bring her stuff into the apartment and Dylan is no longer on the stairs.

  • QUOTES (3)

  • NOTES (1)

    • Sarah Barrable-Tishauer (Liberty), Deanna Casaluce (Alex), Lauren Collins (Paige), Ryan Cooley (J.T.), and Shenae Grimes (Darcy), do not appear in this episode.

    • Marco: Saved By The Bell marathon starts in five and I have the microwave popcorn with the buttery jalapeño sauce!
Saved by the Bell was a popular show in the 80's and 90's about a group of kids in California who got themselves into wacky situations and dealt with relationship woes. Saved By The Bell was on during the same time period as Degrassi Junior High (the catalyst for this series). Comparisons between the two shows have been drawn. The main difference was that Saved By The Bell was a light-hearted show in which problems could be solved within the episode, while Degrassi Junior High was known for its continuing story arc and realistically taking on issues of the time.

    • Amberley: "And my roommate, the Stepford Omarosa minus the looks". Why would you do this?

Stepford refers to the book and movie The Stepford Wives about men from a town who have "perfect" wives. Omarosa refers to a contestant on the NBC show The Apprentice who was mean and almost impossible to get along with.

    • Jimmy: Degrassi's newest MC: Too White, Too Furious.

This refers to the movie 2 Fast 2 Furious, which is a sequel to the movie The Fast and The Furious. The movie features illegal street racing, much like this episode.

    • Spinner: Yo Eminem! Where's D12?

Eminem is a popular white rap artist and D12 is a hip-hop group he is a part of.

    • When Amberley says "The tribe has spoken, give me your torch" she is referring to the hit reality TV show "Survivor" where people vote each other off an island untill there is one person left. After being voted off the host takes the person's torch and tells them "The tribe has spoken."
