Riley has been hiding his sexuality for a long time, but when he meets another homosexual for a friend, is it time for Riley to come out of the closet? Clare helps KC with homework, but in the end they have a fight. The subplot saddened me in a way because I think Clare and KC should be together. I like Jenna a lot too, but I just think Clare is better for him for some reason. I liked the main plot too because you really want to just know what Riley will do. My overall grade is an A+
I was completely relieved by watching this episode, after the last awful episode. Looks like Degrassi still has some of it's leftover spark that we saw in this episode.
I don't know why, but I found myself really enjoying the Riley/Zane plot. I found myself smiling in all the scenes. We got amazing character development from Riley. Looks like he still has that anger problem, but he's pretty much come out. Which is definitely a good thing, the interactions with the characters were good too. Riley still being friends with Anya & Peter, Riley confesses he is gay to Anya which I liked as well.
An amazing B plot especially. We get to see some Clare/KC/Jenna scenes, we haven't seen that since "Heart Like Mine" and I enjoyed everything. I have hated Jenna from the start but in a good way. Like I love to hate her. It was messed up what she did to Clare and it seemed as though she was trying to mess her up more in this episode. It's nice to see that KC is still a good guy, and Clare standing up for herself was divine. This episode had amazing interactions from all the characters, if anything else. Also had some pretty good development.
Amazing episode! I love Riley plots! I like how Riley is continuing to deal with anger managament. I really like how the writers continued that storyline for him. I love how Riley came out to Anya and she got all excited about it. I really like the new character Zane. I'm glad Riley decided to go out with him. It was so sweet how he danced with Zane, and then kissed him at the end of their date. The Clare plot was so much better in this episode than in "Innocent When You Dream". I love how KC tells her truth about Coach Carson. I like how they took a real issue about cheating on exams. I love how Clare was all feisty and she didn't want to take any of KC's BS anymore. I really liked how KC admitted to cheating on the exam and that Clare had nothing to do with it. I give this episode a 9/10.
