Degrassi: The Next Generation

I actually liked this episode better than the premiere in terms of quality. As predicted, Keke Palmer would have been forgotten about. The story lines overall in this episode were better in my opinion. All the story lines were great here.



We got a really heartfelt scene involving Jenna, KC, and his mom, something you definitely would not have expected from a character like Jenna a couple years back. Clare was being annoying again and wanted Eli to feel "something" for her even though she was the one who broke it off with him.



I'm glad she got what she deserved in finding out the real reason why Eli isn't "feeling" anything. I liked the Jake character up until the point he planted a kiss on Clare. So no buildup there then? Overall good story lines with dynamic character and entertaining drama. Solid as far as I'm concerned.

"Love Game" is a great Degrassi episode. I had mixed feelings about watching this episode, but then it turned out to be a really good episode. I thought I would dislike the Clare plot because I got tired of Eli and Clare last season, but instead I really enjoyed it. I love how Clare noticed that it was strange for Eli to have no feelings about the breakup. I love how she had a meltdown in front of everyone at The Dot. My favourite part of this episode is the ending when Clare apologizes to Eli and Eli tells her that he's been taking Antianxiety pills. I found that to be very interesting. I thought I would dislike the Jenna subplot, but I enjoyed that as well. I love how we got the point of view of what it's like to be a teenager mother. I found that Mia as a teenager mother was written very poorly and with Jenna, it seems a lot more relatable. Although, Jenna moving in with KC seemed way too cheesy. I love the introduction of Jake. I can't wait to see what issues his character will have to face. I loved how he kisses Clare. I give this episode a 8.5/10.

In episode 2 of s11, Clare is not happy with the way Eli is acting; he's acting like she never meant anything to him, which is making her crazy. A man who's known Clare for a while, Jake, goes with her to Above the Dot, where she knows Eli is. She plans on making Eli feel jealous, but nothing happens. At the end of the episode she finds out that Eli has been prescribed pills by his therapist.



Jenna and KC have trouble with their baby, especially when Jenna feels it is unfair that she is spending much more time with their baby- Tyson- then KC is.



Good episode. I was not too crazy about the Jenna and KC plot, though the end to it was nice. The Eli/Clare/Jake plot was pretty nice. Eli seemed… off in this episode, but it might have been the pills he is taking. Good episode overall. A+
