  • An excellent conclusion to the mid-season premiere that could create numerous potential storylines in the oncoming season

In recent years Degrassi has taken a fondness to the holiday of Halloween, and why shouldn't they? Any teen drama worth it's snuff should probably touch on the horror culture at some point. This is another winning Halloween episode that manages to actually muster a few moderate jump-scares to go along with the usual relationship drama, bit comedy, and even a bit of drug use! I applaud them for remaining true to teenage life, which drugs are a part of. This episode is so damned good simply because we get a well-written Halloween episode to tie in with the seeds they've sewn for this season, with the possibility of new and especially old romances rekindled again in the near future (Eli and Claire; Dru and Bianca) but there's also hints at a new romance (Jake and Alli) and after the gang have solved the creepy mystery at Jake's cabin in the woods they all return home with a very up-beat, optimistic tone to the final minutes of the episode to tell the viewers basically that they will be rewarded if they choose to take this season's ride. A very fun way to kick off the second half of season eleven.moreless
