  • Ashley versus Craig in battle-of-the-bands.

"Rock and Roll High School" is a great Degrassi episode. It's nice because after after Manny and Terri's heavy storylines this season, it's nice to have a fun episode. In this episode Ashley's band goes against Craig's band in the battle-of-the-bands competition. I love Ashley singing "Mr. Nice Guy". I love the shirts they wore as well. Craig singing "What I Know" was so sweet. I loved the subplot in this episode. I love how Joey hurts his back in this episode. It's actually really cute because he's getting older. And I love how Caitlin takes care of him and Angela. I give this episode a 9/10.moreless
  • Rock and Roll High School is just another episode that proves how great Degrassi:The Next generation is!

In "Rock and Roll High School" you can tell just how great the series of Degrassi: The Next Generation is. You can see how the clever one liners and great musical lyrics and meanings all come together. I really liked this show because many of the characters showed great emotions and you can tell exactly how they were feeling at the time. Another great thing about this episode is the music! Who doesnt love the look of Craig rocking out on his guitar? Oh it was sexy! The sonds were great and very well written. I loved this episdoe, it is one of my favorites and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!moreless
  • And The Battle has Finally ARRIVED!!!

Craig versus Ashley, who will win?

In my opinion Ashley's song was better

"You're the dust in my eye, the rock in my shoe yeah you lie lie LIE." As if that doesn't sum up broken up couples perfectly

Craig i love you but your kinda annoying.

"What i know, is that i hurt you, oh."

Great line but i personally think they should've stuck with spinner's rap.

"So shut up girl and make my LUNCH YEAH!" hahaha.

Craig song didnt really have a good tune. c'mon HE got a recording deal? Ashley's song was so much better and she could actually stick to one good tune.

Sorry craig lovers but he is a jerk and reminds me of my ex. boyfriend. just another wanker But enjoy fans, it may get better but by how much?moreless
  • Craig and Ashley compete in a 'Battle of the Bands' type of thing against each other and Ashley wants a sincere apology from Craig; Caitlin helps look after Angie after Joey falls and hurts his back.moreless

I enjoyed this episode. I was watching the 'BTW' version of it, so there was information playing on screen that distracted me a bit, but I still got it. It was a pretty good episode, but if I were Ashley I don't think I would've taken Craig back for anything! Although I haven't seen a lot of other Season 3 episodes, but I know that she was mad at him for having sex with Manny. So I guess it makes sense. Anyway, it was a good episode. It was fun to watch and was pretty well plotted. All in all, another good Degrassi episode!moreless
  • In this episode Its like the Battle of the Bands. Ashley's band performs and sings a song against Craig.

I love the songs in this episode. Ashley sings vocals, Paige and Ellie are on guitar and Hazel is on the keyboard. Together they make up the band Hell Hath no Fury. Ashley is still mad at Craig for cheating on her with Manny. She writes a song that I love with lyrics like: I'll make the day you met me the day you'll regret" "Your the dust in my eye and your the rock in my shoe yeah you lie lie lie". There is a picture of Craig's face burning in a firey flame on their black t-shirts.

My favorite part is when the band Downtown Sasquash: made up of Craig singing vocals, Spinner on drums and jimmy and marco on guitar, are trying to come up with lyrics to their song and jimmy and spinner make up a rap. It is so stupid yet so funny.

Craig does not like Ashley's lyrics and comes up with a song for her at the last mintute for the competition. Some of the lyrics go: I don't know if you'll forgive me, for being so blind to how you felt. I don't know why i couldn't see it........"and thats somethin i know much about..... what i know is that i suck and what i know is that im sorry. what i know is that im losing you and everything i touch turns to dust.

In the end Craigs band beats Ashleys band and Ash congratulates them. It looks like Craig and Ashley may be friends againmoreless

Craig: You're signing up? Cool, a little uh... competition never hurt.
Ashley: Cause nothing gets in the way of what Craig wants: not emotions, honesty, other people's feelings...
Craig: You hear that? She still hates me.
Ashley: And that's why the girls and I are gonna blow you right off the stage.

    • Craig: I'm sorry, ok? I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'M SORRY, how many time do I have to say it?
      Ashley: Until you mean it.

    • The title of this episode is the same as a song by Ramones from the 1979 soundtrack from the movie of the same name ("Rock 'N' Roll High School")

    • Craig: Those lyrics of yours, not cool.
Ashley: Typical, self-absorbed Craig actually thinks the song is about him.
      Ellie: Wow, so vain.

This conversation refers to lyrics from the Carly Simon song, "You're So Vain." Part of the chorus goes, "You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you."
