Degrassi: The Next Generation Season 6 Episode 11

This is such the saddest episode of Degrassi ever. Manny decides to throw a party to get over Craig. It was a little funny at the beginning of the episode the way she kept saying thet she needed a party. Liberty is so beautiful in this episode. Well she's always looks beautiful but she looked gorgeous in this episode. I really like JT and Liberty together. Seeing Emma drunk was funny. I laughed really hard. Then the unexpected thing happened which I never thought would happen. JT gets stabbed by someone from Lakehurst. It's really upsetting. JT was a great character. It's too bad he died. RIP JT Yorke. I definately give this episode a 10/10.

This episode of Degrassi shows us more about my favorite character JT. It is importent to know that Jt was stuck between two girls his girlfriend Mia and his ex Liberty. There is much suspense in this episode between lakehurst and Degrassi. What most people are wondering does Jt still have feelings for liberty? In this episode you see the answer is yes. Jt says that he has Mia who he really likes but he still wants liberty. This leaves the audience in suspense since everyone wants to know will he break up with Mia and get together with liberty. The show has a big twist at the end because the audience thinks that Jt will find liberty and tell her he loves her but instead he never gets that chance. Jt is kiilled by a lakehurst student which wil leave you in tears and wanting more. This episode was filled with suspense and much drama and was one of the best episodes of Degrassi.

A party for Liberty's birthday quickly spirals out of control, and it leads to an event that no one in Degrassi will ever forget: JT being stabbed and subsequently murdered.





This episode is very sad, and it is also very memorable, primarily because JT dies. And the way he dies. This episode is sad and it has a good plot, in fact it is probably one of my favorite episodes. It stinks though because I really liked JT's character. Overall, a very sad episode and also a very well done and memorable episode, my overall grade for this- an A+

Manny throws a birthday party for Liberty in this episode which has the intention of being fun. J.T and Liberty are friends in the episode, even though Liberty pretty much still has feelings for J.T. Somehow the party surprise is no longer as many people know about the party. Spinner, Jay, Marco, and even some Lake Hurst students come to the party uninvited. I like J.T a lot in this episode. His humor will never be forgotten. J.T and Liberty talk, and J.T still has interests in Mia his new girlfriend. Liberty I guess you can say either disappointed and a little jealous does not want to talk to J.T anymore. Later, Johnny D. witnesses his friend kill J.T. This was an episode of great laughs and big upsets. I love the drama in this one. Sadly, many of the newer episodes can not compete with this.

This episode included issues like parties, something virtually everyones gone to, relationships, sex and violence. The episode was very dramatic and suspenseful as well as TBP. This is an episode I found myself watching again as I couldn't cope like the characters with what just happened. It's gonna be interesting seeing all the long term effects and just the end with all the original young friends was just so sad! Five stars!!

This epiosde is really sad because of someone from Lakehurst kill J.T. J.T is one of my favoirte character in Degrassi. I wihs J.T doesn't die. It would be different if J.T doesn't die and Jiberty will be get back together. Manny hook up with Liberty with Damien they not even a good couple. Emma get drunk. Libertry is better with J.T. Manny is rebounce and get with Damien. Even thought Craig use drugs she shouldn't break up with Craig. Cranny is better couple than Manien. The guy from Lakehurst the friend of Johnny DiMarco is really crazy guy to kill J.T. This epiosde is the sadest in Degrassi kill of J.T.

There are no words to describe what went down and how intense everything was in this episode!!! I loved this episdoe and anyone who doesn't like this episode....You have got to be kidding me. It starts out pretty light then goes straight to one of the darkest episodes of Degrassi ever. I was so in shock!!! It was like seeing the last episdoe of Dawson's Creek. It was amazing. I have to watch this over and over and over. The impact of the episode lift me wanting more and it had me feeling kinda numb for some reason. Obviously the best thing ever! And Manny's acting was so good in this episode. The last scene in the episode where the group was informed that JT was dead was so sad and then it hit me that he was actually never going to be on Degrassi ever again....wow that was so sad and Manny looked so sad, Sean was mad as hell and crying (kinda a shocker for me), Emma all shocked, Toby and Liberty all shocked too...so sad...Everytime I watch that scene over and over again it is still sad....great job on that scene....the best episode ever. And the saddest!

This episode was out of this world amazing. I still can't believe J.T. died. It was so sad yet so dramatic. It is always dramatic and a little painful to watch when a main character, who has been on the series since the beginning, is killed off in an episode, when it isn't even a season or series finale. It is just so unexpected, yet it is so perfect. I love this series for that. It has just been so dramatic with their storylines. It is the perfect way to increase the ratings. The show will never be the same without J.T., but it is still so amazing, and this episode is the perfect example.

Even though I love this episode, I hated to watch it, because I knew someone was going to die. But, I didn't know who. Until, I logged on to the-n.com, and it said JT died. That's where I watched this episode. I cried when JT was stabbed and then later when the doctor told Toby that he died. I still don't know why it happened. JT was at Degrassi from the beginning. I hated to see him die. Because that mean Ryan can't come back. I thought this episode was very well written. JT was a great and funny character. He will be missed dearly.

Manny is still upset over the events in the previous episode, and Emma's parents are out of town, so she suggest they throw a party. JT randomly walks buy and gives them a good occasion (Liberty's birthday), and that's how the episode begins.





Half the cast ends up hearing about the party, along with a bunch of random people, and a few Lakehurst students. the party goes pretty well for the most part. Emma gets drunk, her and Sean try to have sex, Manny ends up stealing the date she set Liberty up with, and even Toby gets some makeout action!





unfortunately, the fun turns into tragedy after Liberty admits that she is still in love with JT. JT is unsure how to react, since he is now in a relationship with Mia, and is confused about his emotions. Liberty runs off, and JT goes after her after admitting to Toby that he still loved Liberty.





unfortunately, instead of finding Liberty, he finds a couple Lakehurst thugs waiting for him. one urinates on his car, and the other ends up stabbing him in the back! Liberty sees them running away, and then breaks down after seeing JT slipping away.





later, he is taken to the hospital, and the kids get the worst news imaginable: JT is dead.





This is the episode that kicked season 6 into high gear. no one expected them to kill off one of the most universally liked chracters on the show, but they did, and that's what made it all the more sad. we've witnessed JT grow up over the past 6 years, and now you wont see him anymore.





another thing I liked was how it felt like there was no real subplot to this episode. it was integrated seamlessly (Sean and Emma), instead of focusing on the college kids, or some random characters.





overall, i think this may be one of the Top 5 best episodes of the series.

In this episode,it is Liberty's birthday and Manny throws her a birthday party.Big woop.So then,at the party,Liberty goes to JT and says I love you but JT says he suposedly "LOVES" Mia.So then Liberty storms out but then JT realizes he still loves Liberty.So he goes out and starts looking for her and these jerks from their rival school,Lakehearst,start messing with him and WAM!One of those jerks stabs JT in the back.I cried when JT died.It was so sad.But Ryan Cooley didn't really have to be in the show anymore.It's all manny's fault.If she didn't throw the party,it wouldn't have happened.But oh well.

Manny decides to throw a party at Emma's house, while Emma's parents are away, but soon realizes she has no reason for a party and then JT suggests throwing a party for Liberty's birthday, so manny decides to throw a party and makes Liberty look hot and brings her a date from the rival school and Manny ends up kissing him, but decides she don't like him. At The Party, Alot of students from Degrassi were there because word spread fast and two kids from Lakehurst were at the party. Spinner and Jay kicked them out of the house. Meanwhile Liberty tells JT, she still has feelings for him and he reveals he doesn't because he still loves Mia. then after talking to Toby, JT decides to tell Liberty that he lied and that he does love her and he goes outside to look for her and a lakehurst kid runs up to him and stabs him andLiberty then cries and finds him bleeding and yells for help. Then Manny, Emma, Toby, Liberty, and Sean find out JT passed away and they all hug each other and cry.

My favorite episode but really why kill JT.If Ryan Cooley doesn't want to be in the show anymore then make him move to Seattle or something.everything is 10 X sadder when the person dies.The saddest part for me was when Liberty goes out into the parking lot and she sees JT dead.She played that role perfectly with her voice breaking down as she was calling for help.It sort of reminded me of the East Side Story episode of Ugly Betty when Santos dies and Hilda is seen actually falling down and crying so hard you can just feel the pain of Hilda.Just like you can with Liberty.

In this episode it is Liberty's birthday. But what is the highlight for me is the whole Jiberty unfolding. Liberty admits she still loves JT... TO JT!!!! But he just stands there and doesn't tell her anything and just later says he "loves" Mia.


JT then later goes and talks to Toby who he tells likes Mia but actually still loves Liberty. Well as JT leaves to go and find Liberty he is confronted by two boys from lakehearst who get cocky with him and kill him.


I find this a really upsetting episode because it could of been the beginning of Jiberty again and not the end. I was so wanting to see a reunion and the biggest we got was a "hey I love you", "hey I still love her"... I mean heck one can be glad we got that but seriously why JT!!!!





Well one can always be happy for the re-runs! LOL!

this episode was a tear jerker it almost made me cry i dont know why they had to kill him off like that he could have just moved away or something so sadd and i cant believe those boys hated him so much that they had to stabb himm im happy that teir in jail and everything. sean should beat them up or something he was realyy pissed off and sad after the bad news i feel so sorry for liberty she couldnt even hear jt say the words i love you but no he had to die but this episode was the best episode of the season so sad well miss u jt i love himm best character

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ! Why did JT have to die ! I seriously cried on this episode, I've cried a little bit on some of the episodes, but it's usually just a few tears. My face was red and everything. It was just so sad. He's been on Degrassi forever and he's gone just like that ! This is sadder than Rick's death , those are the two best episodes of Degrassi . The difference between the deaths are that Rick was shot and JY was stabbed. Getting shot is quicker than getting stabbed, so JT, more than likely, suffered until he eventually died.The creator's could've made his death a little less tragic. Getting stabbed in the back , literally, is a sad way to go . Of course, there are worse ways he could've died . They really should've killed off Toby instead. He never really served a purpose on the show. Everytime I watch Degrassi or anything related to it, I will remember this episode . R.I.P JT

i dont understand why they would kill him. J.T. was such a good character. and it just broke my heart when he was killed because he was going to tell liberty he loved her. those laker guys are crazy ridiculous. who just stabs some one? like for real. they should have killed off toby or some one that i dont like as much. he never had any story lines. and now j.t.' s baby will never know his dad if he wants to find him and liberty when he is older. and in the next episode, did any one else notice that manny gives really bad advice? like 75% of the time she always ends up messing ppl up.

In this episode, Manny decides to through a party at Emmas to mainly get over loss of Craig. It was intended to be a small party, but as usual everything goes hay-wire. Some LakeHurst kids arive with drikns- and are of course kicked out. After realising his true feeling for Liberty, JT sets out in search of her, after she storms out. He steps outside to his car, where the LakeHurst kids are waiting for him. Jt dosent feel like playing thier little games, but they have a better (not really) idea. JT turns for 1 second, and the next he's been stabbed. The kids run off as JT lays helpless on the floor against his car.... Where Liberty finds him. At the hopital, everyone is there, and a docter steps out. She tells Toby, Sean, Emma, and Manny, that JT didnt make it and that they tried thier best. For the first few seconds everyones in shock, and then it hits them. When it does, it hits them HARD. And the scene closes with Emma, Toby, Manny and Sean crying and hugging Liberty who had just found out.

Amazing...All I can sy is amazing.I've loved J.T. Yorke ever since season 1 of Degrassi and it was painful watching this episode. Before the episode started,it was sort of obvious what was going to happen becuse J.T. kept popping in randomly whether he fit in that scene or not (a good example is when Manny is talking with Emma about her break up with Craig,J.T. randomly appears).It was also obvious that if this tragedy never would have struck, J.T. and Liberty would have gotten back together. Although Liberty didn't get the love of her life back, atleast they got to talk again...I think this is by far the most dramatic and most exciting episode of Degrassi. Honestly,I cried my eyes out when J.T. got stabbed...It's a moment I'll remember forever.

This episode is the reason I watch this show. After a lot of abmyssal episodes, the writers finally deliver. Manny throws a huge party at Emma's house. It's for Liberty's birthday, and she is happy that J.T. is coming. Liberty admits that she still loves him, and he still loves her, but J.T. gets killed by some drunk guy, before he gets the chance to tell her.





The B-plot has to deal with Emma and Sean. There supposed to have sex. She gets drunk, so they don't have sex. I enjoyed drunk Emma.





I enjoyed both plots a lot. The end.

This episode was good and sad. It was definately flawed, though; JT died in a lame way. I mean, you wouldn't stab someone because they were sarcastic. And JT didn't even get that mad when the guy was peeing on his car. He didn't deserve it at all. And I think the actress who plays Liberty didn't do that well when she saw that JT had been stabbed when she used that high pitched, hoarse, squealy voice. It just sounded unnatural. But putting those things aside, this episode was pretty good and crucial for the whole show, since they killed off a main character and it causes some other things to happen in the following episodes.

Ugh! This sucks I hate how JT has to be dead. I mean I know in real life he isn't hehe but I mean his character. I loved him and he was supposed to be with Liberty!!!! Gosh! Why do these shows love to do this to the viewers. This episode was definitely a classic. The storyline was good despite the death of JT. I feel so bad for Liberty. I love how Manny found someone so quick. Didn't she just break up with Craig haha. Fast worker. Gosh Sean and Emma were so adorable. Tsk tsk tsk to Emma for drinking up some Jose Cuervo though.

This episode broke the heart of millions of viewers and outraged many of them. The idea of killing of J.T. York seemed almost inevitable. JT was the happy-go-lucky charachter who everybody thought would always be there. The way he was killed was also not suprising he began a war, because of a girl, but was in fact in the act of betraying that girl when he was murdered. James Tiberius York has been a main charachter in the next generation series since its begging in 2001 and has had great charachter developments and become a better person with each coming season. I expected a lot to come from J.T., but know those hopes have sadly deteriorated into a dream and will never be realized.

This is one of the best episodes ever.I cryed so much when I saw J.T. get stabed and the part at the hospital. I loved it! Wished that it didn't happen this way but Ryan Cooley wanted to go to college thats way he waskilled off the show. But before that episode even came on knew it was him that was going to die so I was not shocked to see it.

This was a realy(x100)good episode. It was so shocking. I didn't think JT was going to die. I just thought he was going to be in the hospital for a while. Its realy sad, because JT still loved Liberty and Libert didn't even know he still did. It was so upseting. Although it was sad, I think this episode was the best episode they ever made. I would have gave it a perfect 10 for the episodes score, but they killed JT and I was kinda mad so I took off 0.1 off the score. This was a realy good episode.

omg omg omg. this was sooo sad! i cried and cried and cried! i seriously dont get how ppl can sit there and not cry. it was a tragedy. and i dont think i can stand to watch this episode again, but it so did go there, again! i just cant believe it about jt, it seriously breaks my heart. that was such a shocker, i was thinking marco, or someone like that would die, not the good ole jt yorke.he was my fave one on the whole entire show ever since craig left....ugh that so so so sucks.mannnnnnnn l

I couldn't believe that JT died. Then again, the show prides itself on being true to life, and anyone who has ever been in high school knows that by one means or another, at least one person close to you won't make it to graduation. It's a sad fact that some good people just die too young, and this episode drives the point home. Everyone who watches the show loves JT, he was the class clown that got along with everyone. Certainly someone who didn't deserve to die. The last time someone died in the series, he was a character nobody liked because he hurt a good friend of the gang. This episode is almost unreal.

I could not believe my eyes at the end of the episode. The episode as a whole was rather average. Emma being Emma, Manny being Manny, Liberty being Liberty. But those last few minutes were what made this episode phenomenal. My sister had already watched it and told me someone died, and yet when everyone was waiting in the hospital, I expected something good to happen, something miraculous. Then the doctor came out and gave the news to Toby, who claimed to be JT's brother, which just made me so sad, I almost cried. Almost. Ryan Cooley was there from the beginning, and it's so sad to think of a Degrassi without him. He's really changed over the years, unlike so many of the other characters. It was sad to see him go.
