Emma mistakenly starts a rumour about Liberty and Mr. Armstrong. Spinner plots to prove there are bugs in the cafeteria's food... by planting his own.

  • The Rumor

    "Perfect"
Emma mistakingly starts a rumor that Liberty and Armstrong are an item... which soon the whole school knows about. Is it true? Or is it something different?

Spinner claims there was a bug in his food but he cannot prove it. So, he comes up with a plan. Will it work?

Overall, nice. I think it is preposterous a teacher and a student would hook up (Though in some places it probably has happened, some people are sick...), but I think it was nice. I liked the subplot too even though I did not like the ending. Overall grade- an A+moreless
  • Emma starts a rumour by accident and Spinner puts earwigs in Ashley's food.

This episode of Degrassi: The Next Generation was really enjoyable. This episode is great because it deals with rumours, reputation, and it also deals with something most people don't know about dyscalculia. Emmas starts a rumour about Liberty and Mr. Armstrong. That's the one thing that I don't like about Emma. Once she's concentrated on something she doesn't leave it alone, but everything turns out good in the end. Spinner getting all those earwigs and putting them in Ashley's food was a crazy idea. It was funny when Ashley freaked out. I liked that Emma got up and told the truth because not many people would do that. I give this episode a 10/10.moreless
  • Emma makes a rumor up and doesn't know about it! HAHA! Loved it!

Okay. I loved the fact that everyone thought that teacher (forgot his name) was molesting Liberty. HAHA! Emma was the one to start this rumor but didn't really know if it was ture and just misunderstood what was happening and what she saw! She was so stupid back then! HA! Anyway she starts telling people and then people start wondering if "that teacher" is really a molester. Emma tries to figure out who made up this rumor but finds out that she was the one who made the rumor up. Then the B plot Ms.Kwan is all jealous of Jimmy having a relationship and she disses them so Jimmy and Spinner egg her car and do something else....I forgot that makes her cry and leave work for a few days. I think this episode was very well plotted and acted! Loved it! Especially the B plot....I can't even count how many times I wanted to ruin a teacher career...Ha! Well I think it was a very great episode...Superb!!!!moreless

Emma needs to think more. Meanwhile Spinner finds bugs in his lunch and tells the lunch lady and others, but noone believes him and then he gets his own bugs and puts them in the food himself, then he gets in trouble when the lunch lady finds out he put them in the food himself. Emma believes that there is something going on between Mr. Armstrong and Liberty because they were spending a lot of time with each other and they are passing notes, etc...
While Spinner was attacked by an earwig when he received his lunch and he announces that the cafeteria food was infested by bugs, but no one believed him because the bug had vanished, when someone had stepped on it. So, he decides to throw earwigs around in the cafeteria but he was caught in the act and was paunished by working with the lunch lady with the food preparation and serving.
Emma secretly started a rumour with her friend about Mr. Armstrong and Liberty, but another student had overheard what she said, and passed it on. Then the word was spread all over the school, changed dramatically to become more interesting until the point where everyone thought the teacher and the student were "doing it". The teachers had known about this, and they talked about this problem with Mr. Armstrong, and there has to be some consequences. Emma tries to look for who had spread the rumour, but finds out she had done it, so she must confess to Liberty.moreless
