  • Riley vs. Homophobia.

    9.5
    "Superb"
When Riley makes a gay joke in the locker room to fit in, it offends Zane. So he agrees to go to a Homophobia Seminar, which really affects him. It seemed a bit unrealistic by just that one seminar, Riley becomes all sensitive about gay jokes. It seemed too rushed if anything else. Riley ends up starting a war with Owen (The guy who threw Adam through a glass door.) Once he turns all the football players jerseys pink, which by the way was a great scene, Owen steps out. And in the end, HOMO is written in giant letters on Riley's locker and it's too be continued from there. Clare & Eli have had enough unnecessary build up, so the writers decide to have them share a kiss off a scene from Romeo & Juliet. But then we get more unnecessary buildup, when Eli starts avoiding Clare. It's interesting because Eli is hiding something but we've been going back and forth all season, these two should be together already! Wesley trying to be like Drew was... interesting. I didn't say good, I said interesting. Just as good as the last epsiode in my opinion.
  • Riley goes to a homophobia seminar and finds out how homophobic jokes can really hurt someone. Eli and Clare share their first kiss, but Eli might be hiding something from Clare. Wesley asks Drew to teach him how to be more cool.

Awesome episode! I love Riley's homophobia storyline. I love how he goes to that homophobia seminar and he realizes that he's homophobic and his eyes get all teary. I love how Riley finally stands up for Zane in this episode and tells them as team captain that there's no homophobic jokes in the locker room anymore. The end of the episode was most interesting with HOMO written on Riley's locker. The next episode should be really intense. I love how Eli and Clare constantly flirt and they set up their video so they share their first kiss. I know Eli has a secret and I avoid all the spoilers so I have no clue what it is. But I know there's a reason why Eli is trying to ignore Clare. Wesley plot was entertaining. I'm actually interested in how Drew will teach Wesley how to get girls to like him. I give this episode a 8.8/10.
  • I loved this episode. :-D And I'm glad to see that Degrassi has taken a lighter, more humorous approach -- well done! ~Penny

This episode was definitely jam-packed, with about four different situations going on. Riley tries to prove to Zane that he's not like the other guys, but while winning Zane back, he's landed himself on Owen's nasty side -- igniting a "war." Connor finally sees eye - to - eye with his up - to - no - good Realm of Doom friend, and she's gone once and for all. It's safe to say that Connor has learned his lesson, and has discovered who his true friends are. Wesley signs up for the Bachelor Auction in hopes of catching the eye of Anya, but is hopeless without the help of football jock Drew. They've organized a deal -- if Wesley helps Drew get at least a B on the upcoming science exam, then Drew will help Wesley win over Anya. Personally I am very excited to learn the outcome of this! ;-)

Oh, and, there's the whole Clare & Eli situation. It seems that the two are destined to be with each other from the start, but Eli could be hiding a dark secret. Why else would he be holding back?

Stay tuned, Degrassi fans, for tonight's new episode (and continuation of yesterday's), "Still Fighting It - Part 2"!

riley and the rest of the football team make fun of zane repeatedly because he is gay But soon Riley realizes that these are more than just jokes... and he decides to stand up for Zane.

Clare, Eli, and Adam do a Romeo and Juliet project for English, with Clare as Juliet and Eli as Romeo. All seems to go well but soon Eli becomes... distant. Is he hiding something from Clare?

good episode. Eli seemed really off, especially later on in the episode, which was weird because he's my favorite character this season, but i still loved the episode. A+
