Toby and Liberty plan a memorial for J.T. at Degrassi, and start growing closer, and develop feelings for each other. Toby struggles with whether or not he should tell Liberty how J.T. really felt about her. Mia and Liberty fight over a video Mia wants to show of J.T. playing with her daughter, and doesn't understand why Liberty gets all the say. Ellie and Jesse have relationship problems when they both confess to cheating on each other.
