  • The 200th episode doesn't disappoint, although the breakup was inconsistent.

So here we are after 200 episodes. Sure Degrassi has had it's downfalls and mess ups but they are doing pretty good for going on for 10 seasons now, and being able to air a new episode every day is fantastic. In continuation to Declan showing up out of nowhere, it turns out he wasn't cheating but his character continues to be out of character when he tries to buy Holly J's love. Does anyone else vote that Chantay needs to leave this show? Seriously, she called Holly J a gold digger and before she told Emma she was gaining weight in season 5 which caused her to break down. Does anyone like ANY of Chantay's plots!? Doubtful. Anyways, Holly J feels gross that Declan wants to "buy her" so she breaks up with him in the end of the episode. Overall, it was a good plot. But Degrassi always tends to do this: They change the character radically just to fit in with the breakup. I surprisingly liked Dave's plot for once, I liked how Sav reached out to him. But the whole band thing has been done too much, they really got to stop with a band's search for stardom. It's been done twice already. Stop Degrassi, just stop. Eli taking drastic measures to get back at Fitz was entertaining and definitely dramatic. Overall great episode with some minor flaws.moreless
  • Degrassi 200th Anniversary!

So this marks 200 episodes of Degrassi!Go Degrassi Go! So onto the episode,I enjoyed all the storylines in this episode and Try Honesty(pt.1). HollyJ/Declan: I think DollyJ fell apart...they did.Lats season they were goin' strong, but now they are crashing and burning.I hate when Degrassi does this to great couples. Declan seemed really out of charecter....the entire time it felt as if he was gonna jump outta his skin.I don't know if its that the actor doesnt give of Declan's sauvy "air" anymore or what.It was really nice of Fiona to stand by HollyJ after she dumped her brother.

Dave/Weesley/Connor: It was a pretty cool plot,I was kinda liken their sound too! Sav being a mentor to the younger kids was fun to see...you can tell Sav's matured a bit.

Eli Vs Fitz: Undoubtebly the best part of Try Honesty. I didnt realize Eli could be so evil! That was a well thought out plan! Eli got beat up BAD!!!Lol! Adam/Eli/Clare make a good team and set of friends. It seems Clare just ditched her Alli/Weesley/Dave/Connor/KC circle of friends in favor of the freaks! (Eli and Adam!)

All in All,an incredibally amazing 200th anniversary episode of Degrassi. Happy Anniversary Degrassi!!!!!!!!!!!!moreless

Awesome episode! I really like this theme of money can't buy love. I love how Holly J. finally realizes that in this episode. I like how she realizes that she needs to find her own dreams instead of following Declan's. I really like how Holly J. decided to get that job and that Fiona was proud of her and supported her. It was funny to see Chantay's facial expressions. The Eli plot has to be my favourite plot so far! I love how Eli gave Fitz a fake id of a criminal. I love how he planned a fight with Fitz, called the cops, gotten beaten up by Fitz, then getting Fitz arrested! It was awesome! I love how Eli's a wild character. I thought the Dave, Wesley, and Connor plot of forming a band was lame, but I think it's needed for the character Dave. His character is kind of depressing when he keeps calling himself a loser. Maybe forming a band will cheer him up and he'll get a good storyline later on this season. I give this episode a 9.2/10.moreless
