EDIT

In the seventh season finale, Degrassi's Class of 2007's prom and graduation ceremony is approaching. Liberty has a plan to make the ceremony perfect but events don't go according to plan, which puts Emma, Manny and Toby at odds with Liberty. • Emma, Manny, Liberty, Toby, Spinner, and Jimmy graduate.

"We Built This City" is an excellent Degrassi episode. Yes, it's not an intense season finale, but it gives a sense of closure to the seniors final year of high school. In this episode, Liberty, Emma, Manny, Toby, Spinner, and Jimmy graduate. I really think Liberty and Toby should have become a couple. And if Liberty was going to have a fling with Damien, I think it should have happened earlier in the season. But I really enjoyed the "A" plot. I love the speech that Liberty made. And I love how they all visited JT's memorial. That was completely sad. I give this episode a 10/10 because you makes you remember all the good times on the show.moreless
  • Season 7, Episode 24.

The seventh season finale. Wow. This is the second graduation on the show. Emma, Manny, Liberty, Spinner, Toby, and Jimmy graduate. JT would have graduated if he wasn't killed. This episode had a pretty good plot with the graduation and Liberty kissing Damien. I enjoyed this episode a lot. It left a cliffhanger when Peter wants to get emancipated so he can stay with Darcy. Ms. Haztilakos is leaving, and there are a few other cast departures that won't be around for season 8, which is unfortunate, because I like the old cast better than the new one, with the exception of Mia and Holly J. Overall, this episode gets 5/5 stars.moreless
  • Graduation of '07.

    9.0
This episode was pretty intense, Liberty's life seems to be ruined after she fools around with Damien, while graduation approaches, the gang has a pool party on top of the school! Everyone seems to have fun until Manny catches Damien & Liberty, Toby finds out too. And they upstage her in front of Emma which makes it embarrassing & Liberty loses all her friend but after she makes her heartwarming speech, Emma forgives her, so does everyone else. So it's like nothing really happened, the only part I really like about this plot is the end when they remember JT, that was so sweet. The subplot was amazing, Darcy & Peter team up to get Peter emancipated after he has to move, hopefully he does get emancipated so he can stay with Darcy! A great season finale, finally a cliffhanger!moreless

    • Mr. Van Zandt: Emancipated...are you sure you know what that means?
Peter: Yeah, I saw it on The Simpsons. Bart gets emancipated from his parents, then he moves in next to Tony Hawk.

Peter is referring to The Simpsons, an animated show on Fox. The episode in particular is called, Barting Over.

    • The title of this episode is the same as a song by Starship from their 1985 album "Knee Deep in the Hoopla".
