Does anyone feel like Fiona's drinking problem has been dragged out for too long? Come to realize, she's been drinking since the season 9 premiere, and it didn't get serious until the trial against Bobby, but the episode just felt all too familiar (i.e. Adam obsessing over Fiona, Fiona and the champagne bottle, Fiona passing out). But we did get a great conclusion to her alcoholism here with her going to rehab.

We already know that Fiona will eventually get over being angry at Adam soon enough, but it was still good. I loved the transitions in the end with Fiona's letter. I can definitely say this one hour Valentine's special was better than the past 2 years. We definitely got more substantial development.

Last year, it was the Holly J/Declan relationship, the year before it was Spinner/Jane, and now it's Adam/Fiona, it's weird to see how things changed over the course of 3 years. Anya waiting to turn 18, loved that, although I kind of was looking forward to Dr. Chris possibly getting in trouble. Great episode overall, can't wait for the next.
  • Adam and Fiona start dating, but their relationship gets rocky. Anya has to tell Dr. Chris her age. Dave feels insecure about his height.

Amazing episode! This episode confirms that Fiona is alcoholic although it's not surprise since we see her drinking all the time. Adam and Fiona are so cute together. I love how they officially started dating in this episode, but then I hate how all just taken away. But that's what makes the episode to good. It's really intense how Adam has to struggle with making himself happy or participating in Fiona's intervention with her drinking problem. He doesn't want to ruin his relationship with her. I like in the end that he decides that Fiona's drinking problem could kill her and that Adam decides to be part of the intervention. It's sad when Fiona says she never wants to see Adam again. I love Anya's plot in this episode. I love the scene where she tells Dr. Chris that she's 17 and he's all awkward about it, and she's in tears, and she blames everything on her mom. I love how Anya and Dr. Chris decide to start dating when she turns 18. At first I didn't like Dave's plot because he acted like a jerk to Sadie. But now I realize that Dave is really insecure about his height. There are a lot of short guys in high school, so his plot was definitely relatable. I'm glad he made up with Sadie in the end. I love the ending montage of Adam reading Fiona's journal and it gives hope to the Adam and Fiona relationship. I give this episode a 9.5/10.

Fiona's drinking is getting worse and Holly J and others in Fiona's family stage an intervention. Adam eventually decides it is best, but Fiona gets furious and says that she never wants to see Adam again.

Anya's mom finds out about her and Dr. Chris and makes Anya tell him her real age. She says that she will be 18 soon, and Dr. Chris says maybe they can go out then, but until then, just stay friends.

Dave breaks up with Sadie because she is too tall, and Sadie calls him a jerk because she overheard some mean things he said about her. But, Dave wants her back. Will he be able to win her back?

Fiona's plot was good but it got kind of boring as the episode went on. Anya's was good, I wonder if they will eventually resume dating? Dave's plot had been done on different shows before, but it was still handled in an interesting fashion. Good return, Degrassi. The ending really makes me want to see if Adam and Fiona will stay together, if Anya and Dr. Chris will stay together, and Dave and Sadie. Good episode. A+
