Yes, it had promise, but from what I read somewhere there will be no more episodes. Philip Glenister/Rupert Galvin has refused to do any more episodes.
Glennister's American accent was really grating. Did I mention that his accent was really annoying? Really annoying! I wonder, are Brits as irritated by Americans doing British accents? But here it wasn't just his accent. He was supposed to be "cold & stern" but he came off as pompous and uncaring. He's supposed to be a good actor, but you can't tell it by this show.
I seem to recall other British portrayals of Americans as arrogant. Is that the stereotype?
The best thing about Demons was the opening song. Anybody know the title and band?
