Makepeace: She lived alone, Chief. Spikings: I'm not a red Indian, Sergeant Makepeace, I'm a Detective Superintendent. If you call me anything, you call me sir! Still picking up bad habits. Makepeace: Still trying not to, sir!
After referring to Cagney & Lacey in a previous episode, this time Spikings refers to a different American cop show, Starsky & Hutch.
