This second episode of the second series was the first one in which both Makepeace and Spikings really seemed to appreciate Dempsey.
Spikings defends Dempsey against a superior SI-10 officer and, on a personal level, Dempsey and Makepeace seem to be getting along much better than before. Whereas in the previous episode he was about to return to New York, in this episode they seem much closer.
Of course, it may have helped that the two actors had become romantically involved too by this time.
A good script, solid acting and a villain that's actually likeable. Back to form after the previous episode.
