  • The episode is Denise is having a hard time with her Mom's death. She is suffering from insomnia, anxiety, depression, and grief over the death of her beloved mother. With the advice of her therapist, she goes back to her parent's home one more time...

This episode is definitely my favorite so far, out of all the great episodes that "It's Complicated" keeps spitting out! I saw the promos for the show on the E! Channel in early May, and from seeing those, I just knew it would be an interesting reality show.

Denise reminds me a lot of myself. My mother died two weeks before my first wedding, (in 1987) which was a tragedy. I needed her so badly. She never got to see my son, (Danny) whom was born in 1990. Like Denise, my marriage fell apart, except for my father coming to live with me, I went to live with him. I think it filled a void in both of us. Just like Denise having her father live with her, is helping her more than she knows! When I separated from my son's father, my baby was only 5 months old! Hello single mother-hood... But, not only was moving in with "Grandpa" healthy for Danny and me, it was also giving me a chance to go back to my parent's home, and kind of feel my mom there. This is what Denise did in the most recent episode I've seen. Denise, Denise's sister, Michelle and Denise's loving father, Irv. I cried and cried, right along with Denise, as she went through her mother's personal belongings. Irv told Denise about a cool idea from Hospice about "Memory Bears." Basically, you take personal clothing from the person you want to remember on your bear. Denise did just this for her two girls, Sam and Lola, who are just adorable. If I had a little girl, I would want her to look just like Lola!! lol. Although Sam is a cutie too!

Denise made her Dad and sister home-made tomato soup that her mother and Denise used to make together, when her mother was alive and well. It was a nice surpise, I think for Denise's family, and it looked good. I love tomato soup! When I moved back with my Dad, I tried to make the things my mother used to make for him.

On July 2, 2007, my father passed away after battling a brave fight with brain cancer. It just ate at him, and he withered away to nothing. It was awful to watch, and what was worse, was where he died, and the circumstances. My sneaky brother got my father to change his Will, as some adult children do to their elderly parents, and that's so sad. I wish I knew what was going on, but it was too late, and my brother ended up stealing all of my father's inheritance, including my share, and including all life insurance policies. What an idiot. I would have taken good care of my father, just like Denise, I'm sure, took good care of her mother....

It was the most touching episode to date, and to me, it was a very special episode...
