  • Just a guess... This is going to be yaoi, isn't it?

Well I've only seen the first two episodes, and from what I've seen, I'm going out on a limb and going to make an educated guess: This is a yaoi anime. There's two guys who are partners for a supernatural investiagtion's team, one is fairly young, 16, and the other is in his mid 20's. One is arrogant, very good looking, and the other is kind of a dork and thinks with his stomach. I know another anime like this, Naruto, but that one is meant for young adults, but is watched by young children everywhere, so I doubt that will end up in yaoi, but this one definitely will. Not that I really mind. I mean, I mind a little bit, but not enough to stop watching the show all together.moreless
  • Interesting funny and exciting

I really enjoyed this Anime, although I still have the Final story to watch.

It struck me as another unique concept with storylines that had plenty of originality. I dont like many Animes but this is one of them.

The Devils Trill stood out as my favorite story. I thought it was a well thought through story with many enjoyable twists and surprises.

The Japanese humour in this show is fantastic. It has taken me a while to start to understand how the do humor in thier animations, but the more it begins to make sense the more I laugh.

I'd reccomend this show to any Anime fan and any one looking for a detective story with a difference.moreless
  • WARNING:Contains spoilers for final episode(#13)!!!

I loved this show a lot...in the beginning. The ending's just too sad!!! I am crying right now cause I am watching the ending*sobs and gets computer wet* Ok, maybe the only reason I'm crying is because one of my co.-favorite characters went insane. And why'd he have to go insane!!! Ok, maybe he was already partly insane...but that doesn't count because he was awesome about it! Muraki was one of the best anime bad guys in history*wipes away tears*, and one of the hottest(anime standards). I think that the plot was amazing in the beginning, and I loved it a lot, there was great characters, the anime was awesome, and it had a great plot line(if not a bit confusing in the beginning). But then I felt that it sorta went downhill from there with the plot, and story seemed thin and stretched where they could have taken time to work on it and make MORE EPISODES. My other favorite character, Hisoka, was awesome because he was (a brat, like me :D)steadfast throughout the series about his character, which is very good. One thing that annoyed me was the fact that there wasn't enough romance!(yes, I know, this wasn't a romance series, but still) I really would have killed to see the outcome of the poker game on the ship if Hisoka hadn't saved Tsuzuki. This, in my opinion, is not an NC-17 anime, but is not G either, so I would probably rate it PG-13. Another annoying thing is that there's only 13 episodes, how fair is that? Wish me luck in trying to dream about what would happen if they met up with Muraki again, and enjoy watching a great shounen-ai anime!moreless
  • Descendants of Darkness (Yami no Matsuei)is mostly about the afterlife. The main character, Asato Tsuzuki deals with his own inner issues, while trying to save the living from the death loving Doctor, Kazutaka Muraki. Along with Tsuzuki is his partner, Himoreless

Wow, I remember the first time I saw this. It was playing on Comcast on Demand. At first, I didn't know what to think about it, but then I fell in love with it. I loved the characters so much and the music. (Would it be odd to say that I have 'Eden' Downloaded on my computer?) I really liked the characters design, and the storyline. Though, my only problem was how they constantly used the Suzaku animation when every Tsuzuki summoned her and how there were only 13 episodes. There was SOO much more that they could go on. I mean, they didnt even touch base with Terazuma, and Tsuzuki's past, Saki's problem with Muraki. I wish more was put into that part. Oriya only showed up in the last Arc. That was the only thing that bothered me.moreless
