  • Anthony tries to help keep Consuela from being deported. Only 'help' may not be the right word.

Suzanne's housekeeper Consuela has been served the most dreaded notice: she will be deported unless she can show cause why she should be allowed to remain in the country. Although it may not always look this way, Suzanne does have a heart, and decides to fight back.

Sugarbaker fears the attempt might not succeed if Consuela makes the appearance in person. Solution?

A friend indeed is a friend, well, in a dress.

Suzanne recruits Anthony to stand in for the maid. He does so, driven by equal parts friendship and fear. Anthony dons an oversized smock, a head scarf and, to top it all off, fake teeth. He is determined to bluff his way through the hearing with Immigration Services.

The INS clerk, by contrast, is determined to do something else--get to know whom he thinks is a woman, in a much more personal way.

All's well that ends well, but not before much craziness ensues.

The hilarious misadventure is one of the most clever episodes in the series.
