I love this episode - people of today need to learn from this and The Sugarbakers' words from the quotes below (and other such episodes) should never be lost! It made me laugh and it made me hopeful. My favourite moments were the 2 described in the quotes under this episode. This is a great show - with great values, morals and dignity - it speaks volumes that this generation finds shows like this boring and not worthwhile. The cast fits the characters perfectly - they're hilarious! RIP Dixie Carter - you were awesome!
I can't wait to own these episodes on dvd!
  • This is one of Designing Women\'s most impressive episodes. While some episodes are just sitcom fluff, this is truly an episode with a purpose. Presenting both sides of the story is something Designing Women does very well.

This is one of Designing Women\'s most impressive episodes. While some episodes are just sitcom fluff, this is truly an episode with a purpose. Presenting both sides of the story is something Designing Women does very well. In this episode, the battle between free speech and protesting pornography. One of the most interesting twists to this episode was to have the editor of the magazine be a woman. Suzanne made a great point when she asked Terry why, if she supported both her magazine and feminism, she wasn\'t herself posing for the centerfold. I love how this episode was able to end without a real conclusion. Both sides stood their ground and live to fight another day, no matter how much damage Julia does to her car.
