What a challenge it had to have been to write this episode, considering the hilarity of the previous season. As a viewer watching this episode for the first time, I was quite impressed. Jan Hooks was perfectly cast as Carlene, and there were many great moments she shared with Julia Duffy's Allison, especially the F.T.S comment, pointing out that her daddy bought Suzanne's share, and reminding Allison that her speech was actually a song. Suzanne is mentioned a lot in this episodes, and Allison is kind of seen, in my eyes, a Suzanne clone. I think Duffy did a hell of a job with the role. It had to have been hard to walk into a situation and replace an actress who had five years on the show. Same with Hooks, and I loved the sisterly bond you could see with Jean Smart and Hooks. I loved how Anthony and Allison sparred, and how Allison kept getting Charlene's name wrong. Funny episode.moreless

    • Allison: Julia, just so you know, the next time you see your lawyer on company time, it's going on your record. Julia: Just so you know...The next time you speak to me in that tone of voice, you're going to the moon.

    • Carlene: Why'd she (Suzanne) move to Japan anyway? Julia: Well, Suzanne was very attracted to the Japanese economy. They have a very large elderly population there and she had dated most of the men in this country. Carlene: Well, that was something about her dating that Emperor Hirohito wasn't it? Charlene: Oh no, Carlene. That was the nephew of Emperor Hirohito. I mean, Emperor Hirohito is dead. Mary Jo: .......never stopped Suzanne in the past.

    • Mary Jo: For someone who's not gonna even be working here, Tinkerbell sure has a big desk.

    • Allison: I was a seeing-eye person for a rich blind lady in New York. Do you have any idea what it's like to be let go from a position that was formerly held by a dog?
