After sleeping with mobster Joey Gamarra's daughter, New Jersey restaurateur Louis Thomas must flee to California with his mother, Rita, and brother, Alex. Once there, the brothers get jobs at chic restaurant Zavatti where, unknown to the boys, their father, Peter Evans, is the manager.     Back in 2006 MyNetworkTV launched and their idea of how to break through was to become like a Spanish over the air channel by showing soaps in primetime. Desire was one of those soaps. This is not smart television, but its soapy nature does hook you in, just like any other show in the genre does. The viewer will mock Desire when they first see it, but they will end up being hooked and watching every episode they can. The pilot did a good job establishing these characters and you have to wonder if they should have pursued a second season of this show instead of just throwing in the towel after one.moreless

    Desire is a break through. This is an original show about two brothers and it is believable. Fast moving, doesn\'t drag things on. It keeps you on the edge of your seat.
    Love, Money, Sex the best combination. Not advertised by TVGuide. They push the shows they want. This show can grow so please have a second season.
    Second season - different installation - Alex and Andrea getting married having a family.
    Louis and Cully going into a legimate business together.
    One restaurant and selling the other and opening Louis and Cully\'s business (where Bella\'s was). well i think that desire is the most beautifull serious i have ever seen in all my life ilove all the cast andrea and alix and louis and gorg and caramoreless

    This episode is when the competion begins with Louis and Alex want to be Andrea's girlfriend. Louis gets her first. Only because when Alex wrote a letter about what he feels for her when he throws it in the trash can Louis copys and put in a letter. Andrea finds out what Louis wrote then they magicly fell in love. Certainly, Alex knew what Louis was doing steeling his chance with Andrea. Andrea and Louis started dating with each other. Sometimes , Alex and Luois would fight over each other. The people from New Jersey were looking for Luois for Louis for revenge.moreless
