Back in 2006 MyNetworkTV launched and their idea of how to break through was to become like a Spanish over the air channel by showing soaps in primetime. Desire was one of those soaps. This is not smart television, but its soapy nature does hook you in, just like any other show in the genre does. The viewer will mock Desire when they first see it, but they will end up being hooked and watching every episode they can. The pilot did a good job establishing these characters and you have to wonder if they should have pursued a second season of this show instead of just throwing in the towel after one.
Desire is a break through. This is an original show about two brothers and it is believable. Fast moving, doesn\'t drag things on. It keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Love, Money, Sex the best combination. Not advertised by TVGuide. They push the shows they want. This show can grow so please have a second season.
