  • Brilliant episode! Sets up for a superb season finale hopefully!

This was yet another miraculously thrilling episode, with some brilliant storylines! The best storyline of the day was definitely Susans, Paul's and Felicia'ss, as so much happened today, and I thoroughly enjoyed all of it! It was VERY suspenseful, and thoroughly nercve-wracking!

Nextly, the Gabrielle storyline was also immaculate today, as it helped develop a lot of suespense, which I'm sure will culminte into a brilliant season finale! There was so much suspense, and I honestly was shocked at the revelation of the identity of the impostor!

Bree's storyline was funny once more, but I wish they would stop demonstrating oall of the doubts she whas and start developing that relationship a little more!

Lynette's storyline... rubbish as usual. I recommend searching for something else to watch in order oto occupy the time that she and Tom are squabbling each week...

However, the rest of the episode was brilliant, and I'd have to highly recommend it! Two thumbs up, and I can't wait for the season finale!
  • Not bad..

I have to say i was abit disopointed about this episode i think it really could of and should of been alot better then it was i mean i have been waiting for 7 years for the truth to come out over martha huber and for paul to finally go to prison for her murder so i do admit that my expectations for this episode may have been abit to high but even so it still was abit of an anti climax, i really hope felica isnt dead she is a great character and i dont want her to meet her end by some big truck, im glad paul gave himself up for the murder of maartha huber and i enjoyed the scenes between paul and susan considering the history these two have. overall a ok episode but abit anti climatic im hoping the next episode it better considering its the last of the current season

  • Excellent Episode (part 1)

The season final is upon us and so far so good.

Sad to see the collapse of Tom and Lynette's Marriage although it might make a good storyline in season eight. Sad no see no Vanessa Williams too.

The scenes with Chuck and Bree were the most fun, the scene in the gaybar was hilarious. Once again good to see Marcia Cross happy and glowy.

Gabrielle's stepfather is revealed to be her weird stalker. Good to see continuity is kept with him supposed to be dead (Farewell Letter).

But the best story is Felicia/Paul/Susan plot. Harriett Samson is excellent and evil. Susan is the hero of the hour by saving Paul Young. But its Mark Moses who proves that bad people can change. He started off as a bad man but evolved into a victim. Good to see him confess to Martha's murder. Let's hope the man receives redemption. Also like the fact the ending is ambigious - did Felicia survive?

Part 1 of this season's finale was a little slow, at least the first 20 minutes. Lynette & Tom: It was good to see Tom yelling at this horrible woman for a change. She has no idea what she wants.

Bree & Chuck: What the hell? Such a filler. Although "time of gay 11:21" line from Lee was LMAO. But the point of this storyline was nowhere to come or see. Please writers, don't do this again. I also hate to see gay men portrayed as such stereotypes.

Susan/Felicia/Paul: It was nice that Susan tried to rescue him after she was released from the police station when Mike admitted that Felicia had offered him money to kill Paul a few months ago. Felicia escaped only to crash into a truck. Such an epic fail of this epic character. Paul finally confessed to murder of Martha Huber and he was taken with the policemen away. This long storyline is finally over. I liked how they did it.

Gaby/Alejandro: She knows that he is alive now. And stalking her, so she is taking some shooting lessons.

    Not bad.
  • Felt more like the concluding half of a season finale, not the first hald. I LOVED IT THOUGH.

I felt this episode finally wrapped up a story-arc which has been pressing on our minds since the first season. Paul returning felt like more of a final season thing.

It was good to see him turn from evil to good. He deserved some redemption.

Gabby's stepfather returning was obvious but still grasped my attention.

This episode felt more like a season finale. The next episode felt more like a series premier.

    But I LIKED IT!

It was something different. Wrapping the main story arc of the season and then ending the season on a whole new story was just refreshing. Also glad to see Carlos forgiving Bree.
  • Obviously a set up for the next episode and a close out to Paul/Felicia..SPOILERS

I was so mad that I missed the first 10 minutes of this episode. STUPID DVR

    Anywhoo

    Gabrielle:

So Apparently Juanita has saw "the man" and Gabrielle is starting to get worried. She asks Bree for a gun who declines but suggest that Gabrielle go to a gun class.

Typical Gabby makes a joke about it, but as the episode goes on you start to see that she is truly scared and she discovers that the man is her Presumed Dead Step Father and goes back and takes the class seriously.

Towards the end, She finally confronts her stepfather and makes him promise never to come around. I'm not sure why she was there in the woods but her plot line is great.

Eva has really shown her acting skills this season and is definitely making Gabrielle a 3 diimensional character.

    Lynette & Tom--

    I just can't stand the storyline...Probably because I miss Season 1 Lynette.

The Marriage troubles seemed to come out of the blue. They have appeared fine except for the past 7 episodes and it just seems to contrived.

This episode finds them afraid to be alone with each other so they begin to annoying hang around a young couple to avoid being alone.

Mainly comedy till towards the end of the episode.

    Bree-

The gay thing...It was obvious he was NOT gay and the undercover thing before they even announced it. It was just an excuse to give Bree a comedic plot.

This was a weak and unnecessary plot for me but it was funny at least.

    Paul & Felicia( & Susan)

It finally comes out Susan is NOT the one who has been trying to kill Paul. Seriously, was Paul that stupid he would assume susan would try and Kill him?

Sure he blackmailed her but in all honesty, he hasn't done anything for her to want to kill him....especially since Beth died and he finally gave her the kidney. Seemed too contrived...

Anyway, I am glad that this storyline is presumably over. Felicia "kidnaps" Paul and is Poisoning him and forcing a confession about Killing her Martha.

Of course Susan is supposed to be the one to save him and the story wraps up with Felicia running off and Paul confessing and I guess going to Jail.

I love the end though where Felicia was killed by the truck after Beth's ashes flew in her face...WHy in the hell she was trying to grab whatever that was behind the urn IDK.

This episode was kind of weak. Enjoyable but at the same time could've been a lot more from the Paul and Felicia storyline.

And Lots of Security... (1) was a superb episode of Desperate Housewives. I really enjoyed watching this episode because there was a lot of intrigue, suspense, humor and action. There was also a lot of character and plot development. Tom and Lynette continue to wrestle with what they want and who they are now and their story line is an interesting glimpse into the real lives of people in these types of situations. It was funny to learn the truth about Bree's detective, and this was a clever and humorous story line, and Gaby encounters her past which makes her seek to protect herself. Susan gets out of being framed and continues to see Paul as he prepares to move. I really liked the last scenes with Paul, Felicia, and Susan. Great ending! I look forward to watching the next episode!!!!!!!

Part of the two part season finale for Desperate Housewives definitely was entertained. We had some funny moments and we also had some very well-done serious moments. The slow implosion of the Lynette and Tom marriage continues to be one of the best things going on TV. Nothing scandalous, just a couple going through real problems. Curious to see what happens in part two, and I liked the Erinn Hayes guest spot, although I wish she was given a few more lines.

The Paul and Felicia scenes were actually alright as well. It's a little ridiculous that they have an attempted murder every year around the season finale, but still some fun little over the top drama tonight. Good start, let's hope the second part is as good.
