  • A so-so episode.

    Who shot Paul Young???
I was hoping we could see something a little bit more after last episode that was so powerful. But I didn't really expect it, so this episode wasn't such a surprise. Nothing really special happened, just regular things.
What did surprise me although was the returning of Mike and Orson. I thought Orson really left Bree and I didn't see him coming after 10 episodes. He was a little bit annoying to me. And the chemistry between him and Bree is gone in my opinion. I'm glad Bree rolled in the mud and showed that she really cares for Keith. She was so funny when she jumped on his back and they both fell down and get dirty. :D
I feel so bad for Susan! Why did she had to get all the troubles with kindney now? She was already suffering enough with all that money drama and Mike leaving... And this dialysis doesn't look good for her.
Poor Gaby too. Carlos was so not understandable in this episode! I mean I understand Gaby in a way, it must be really hard for her and she loves Grace but Carlos is just acting like he has no emotions whatsoever.
That last look on Paul's face was very scary too... He finally found out the truth about Beth's mother. It will be interesting to see how he'll behave to her now.
    Overall, an average episode.
  • Assassins

Assassins was a good episode of Deseperate Housewives and I enjoyed watching this episode. We learn that Susan needs Dialysis and that Paul Young has survived the shooting. The police have trouble pinpointing any suspects because every one has motive. I thought the Gaby and Juanita story line is ever changing and has headed in a different direction. I thought it was cool to see Lynette and Renee working in sync with each other, until Renee revealed her secret. Meanwhile Orson pays a visit to Bree and asks to stay with her and Keith. This turns out not to be what it seems and has an interesting outcome. I look forward to the next episode!!!
  • Maybe it's enough already?

It's a new year but it's the same old Desperate Wisteria Lane. It is not nice that Susan lost her (now revealed) one good kidney and will need a transplant. Wonder where that will come from since the malady can't last that long in what is essentially a comedy show. Anyway, it's my contention that the unfortunate incident would never have happened if Susan hadn't been running around like the idiot she usually is trying to inform Lynette about Tom's old indiscretion in the midst of that ridiculous riot.

Speaking of Lynette ... not very predictable that she would have that reaction and now subject us to possibly weeks of her punishing the witless Tom. Guess that will torture us until it's discovered that he could be Susan's lifesaver (possible scenario).

The plot with the baby switching really bugs me. Gaby is acting exactly as any Mother would in that situation. The whole family is really, but I just don't understand Carlos' attitude. I don't like the whole situation and all could have been quite easily handled if the two girls had just been told what happened; but no, we need all of this angst and anguish. It was nice, however, to see Bree finally cut the ties with Orson. It was great to see her go with her new legitimate emotions and not go running back to the annoying Orson. The clash between to two men would have been unbearable anyway. The Paul Young situation is a little intriguing if not rather bizarre. I am a bit interested to find out who shot him and how he is going to treat his wife. It's probably all just a big red herring though.

If DH does not improve fast then this really should be the Lane's last few months of life. Some is still enjoyable but it is fleeting and most is just plain annoying.
  • 1/2

Orson is back and what a shock his scenes are the highlight of the episode. I am not sure whose decision it was for him to no longer be on this show, but I wish he would come back full-time as he and Bree just have this undeniable chemistry, and no partner for her will ever measure up in entertainment value.

So, who shot Paul Young? While it may not be a who shot JR, I am curious to see where they go with this. Just don't have it be something ridiculous like Mrs. McCluskey.

This was a bit of a dull episode to come back on after such an explosive episode last time around, but I'll give it time. They are building to something on this show, hopefully something good.
  • Abit disopointing!

Unfortunatly i found this installment of Desperate Housewives to be abit boring and abit of a disopointment. The storylines in this episode had potential but Desperate Housewives just didnt take advantage of them. Lynettes storyline this week was pretty bland I thought the whole Renee/Tom storyline was boring and unorignal anyway but i am glad that the secret is out and we can move on and hopefully give renee something more intresting to do. I was hoping that in this epsode lynette would be abit more sympathtic to the neighbours and her friends considering it was her fault the riots escalated the way they did and the fact that she didnt even apoligies to susan or anything i felt that was pretty lazy!

Gaby's boring baby swap story continued this week and once agian i wasnt excited by it i think that Desperate Housewives could have really made this storyline intresting now that Juanita knows the truth but instead it felt boring and unorignal, However it is nice to see Eva longoria get some more dramatic scenes other then just physical comedy. Bree's storyline was probably the most enjoyable this week only because it was nice to have orson back i thought the food fight between Orson and Keith was pretty funny, I like that Bree explianed that keith has changed her because she is definitly not as uptight as she used to be, however the unfortunate thing about this story was that it reminded me of how well Orson and Bree worked together they are a much better relationship then boring old keith but oh well im still hooping bree and keith will br over by season's end. Susan's storyline was ok this week it was nice to have Teri hatcher playing something more serious and im intriged to see what happens next for susan and her kidneys. The mystery this week was probably the biggest let down of the episode, Know one even seemed to care that Paul had been shot, there was no talks about the halfway house which caused all the riots i felt that was agian very lazy writing, however i was suprised by the revelation that mike is talking to felica, and i am looking forward to see what paul is going to do with Beth,

Overall a pretty unimpresive episode of Desperate housewives i hope this isnt a sign of things to come.
  • Bree And Keith Move In Together, But Things Get Akward When Orson Shows Up In Need. Renee Reveals Something To Lynette And Paul Learns Beth's True Identity.

Desperate Housewives continues to be an entertaining show even after 7 years. This was a very good episode to follow the events of the disastrous riot. Many things happened in one episode which is always a good thing. It's always nice to see Orson, even if he has evil intentions. Renee's secret was something I did not see coming. Paul's storyline continues to be very entertaining and finally this plot is going somewhere. I won't spoil the ending scene from you but it was shocking. The best scene in this episode was the dinner with Bree, Keith and Orson. It is one of the most hilarious scenes in the entire series. I laughed so much! An entertaining episode and I will certanly tune in to next episode!
  • Continues to be entertaining!

This was definitely a great Depserate Housewives episode, although clearly not as good as its predecessor, which was just epic! This one starts an interesting storyline for Susan, as her life takes a drastic turn.

I also really enjoyed Gabby's storyline, which has been so heartbreaking this season. She is caught betweem the daughter she gaev birth to, and the daughter she raised - what a tough and unimaginable situation.

Bree's storyline gets stranger as usual, when Orson wanders in and shows up. I think they need to get something stronger regarding Bree, as her storyline with Keith ahas been quite bland all season.

Renee and Lynette were interesting, though. I though t it was great that Renee confessed, and I hope Lynette contineus to punish Tom, like with that hot chocolate! THat was a very funny scene!

All up, a great episode! I'm really enjoying this season of Desperate Housewives, and I can't wait to see what happend next! Keep it up, guys!
  • There are many returns in this episode....

Return number one: Desperate Housewives is back in the UK! Whoohoo! About damn time Channel Four

Return Number two: Orson's back! Yay! he is still in love with Bree and plans to interfere in her relationship with keith, which seems to be going from strength to strength. Marcia Cross and Kyle M reignite the chemistry between them for a short time.

Return number three: Mike's back! But he is working with Felicia - huh? It just goes to show that this season is making a lot of season one references.

Teri Hatcher shines in this episode because of her condition. She shows true emotion with the other ladies. And Vanessa Williams too, shows good emotion. Something she never did on Ugly Betty!

Overall good stuff - glad to know Paul survived....
