Episode Recap

Maisy Gibbons is brushing her hair and looking herself in the mirror.

"To understand Maisy Gibbons you first need to know how she spent her afternoons. Her mornings were spent running errands for her husband (she is going away in her BMW SUV and she waves at Susan and Bree who are talking). Her evening were spent washing dishes and helping with homework (she is washing dishes and she is helping her daughter to solve new math problems). But her afternoons, well…they were spent in a company of a man (she is looking herself in the mirror and still brushing her hair). Frustrated (she opens the door and there is some far eastern businessmen guy) misunderstood (there is some geek on the door half bold) lonely men (one old guy comes to the house and kisses her) willing to pay money to feel a little less lonely. And Maisy Gibbons was willing to help them." (She finished brushing her hair)

Her client is in the room and he is putting on his clothes while she is making bed. The client asks her if anyone knows about her hobby and she tells him that nobody knows. He wants to know if it is hard to keep a secret like this and she tells him that the way she sees it she is keeping the secrets of every men who come to her and she finds that absolutely exhilarating. She tells him that a few years back Harold, her husband, lost his job and they had to give up their membership on the country club. One day one of her club friends asked her why she wasn't around and she told her the truth that they couldn't afford it anymore and the friend waved it off like it was nothing but Maisy remembers the look she had in her eyes the look of pity. The client tells her that maybe she was just being nice and it is not so bad to feel sorry for someone. Maisy tells her that when they say something it means something but when they say nothing it means that you are so far gone that you are never coming back. She tells him then that a couple of months later she started her hobby and the most wonderful thing happened…her husband became one of her regulars. Someone rings the door bell and she tells the client to take the back door because it is her next appointment…the husband of a lady she was telling him about.

She opens the door and Rex is in front of it and he just walks in.

"Every morality play has its cast of characters (a man puts a sign "Courtroom in Session"). There is always an innocent victim (Gabrielle is shown and Susan is by her side) a deceitful villain (Carlos is shown sitting in his prison outfit next to his lawyer) a prosecutor who seeks the truth (a lady lawyer Mcready is shown looking at her laptop) a magistrate who dispenses justice (Judge Sullivan is shown reading some files) and a lawyer who charges too much (Carlos' lawyer Mr. Hartley is shown also reading something). This morality play was being produced at Fairview county courthouse (Lynette and Bree are shown who are also sitting next to Gabrielle). Its themes were trust and betrayal."

Judge wants to hear what Mcready has to say and she wants bail denied because the defendant's company (meaning Carlos) imported goods manufactured by slave labor and his business partner Tanaka has already fled the country and Carlos refused to surrender his passport. Judge wants to know what is with the passport and Mr. Hartley, Carlos' lawyer, tells her that it has been misplaced at the time. He also tells them that Tanaka set up the entire operation and Carlos is not a business partner but a hired contractor and he is the sole provider for his wife and his mother who is in a coma. Judge wants the passport and Carlos can visit his mother until then he is denied bail and remanded.

Lynette doesn't want to shock them by suddenly disappearing out their life because deep down they are sensitive. Claire tells her that she can manage everything and tells her to go. Lynette tells her that she has her cell phone number and to call her if she needs anything. Lynette tells her kids to give her a three bear hug and she goes to lunch.

Rex tells her that she should meet someone and she tells him that she is too busy rising his children. Rex tells her that he is just trying to move on with his life. Bree suggests him to invite the mystery woman over here and he can take her on the sofa in the bedroom. She opens the door and calls Andrew and Danielle to see how Rex is fornicating in front of them. He tells her to be quiet and she asks him if he is ashamed and she goes to sleep.

"The next morning started with a banging (Edie is knocking on Martha's door). No one knew where Martha Huber was and Edie Britt was starting to worry (there are all those newspaper in front of the house that have not been picked up) Edie didn't like worrying. She rushes out of the house and asks the man what is going on. He gives her that paper and tells her that the government is impounding it. He takes off and Gabrielle notices that so people are staring and she wants them to have a wrong picture and she yells at the driver and tells him that this wasn't the paint job and she doesn't want to see her car until it is perfect and she goes inside the house.

Lynette is with Bree and she is wondering what is going on back at the house. She thinks that Claire can't handle her kids because it was maybe just beginners luck and she thinks that she should call her. Bree who is ironing tells her that for the first time in years she has some free time and she is wasting it obsessing about the kids. Lynette tells her that she doesn't know Claire she only has a degree in Sociology. Lynette thinks that she can't handle her kids and Bree tells her that if she really has so many doubts she should buy a hidden camera. Lynette is first laughing and Bree tells her that people do terrible things when they think that nobody is watching them. Lynette tells her that she won't be able to videotape Claire because it would be a breach of trust. Bree tells her that trust is overrated. She asks Bree if everything is Ok with her and Rex and she tells her that it is. Lynette tells her that she is curious because he moved back out and he moves back in and he moves back in and she wants to know if he is back for good. Bree is not certain and Lynette asks her why is she ironing his shirt and Bree tells her that she has faith that he will return. Lynette tells her that it is good to have faith in people but Bree tells her that she would still buy that camera.

Susan is working on some letters but she sees that Mike is back and she calls him and tells him that her oven is out and to come to help her find an oven light. She is in a blue sexy outfit and she is taking rose petals and starts throwing them on the bed and throws them downstairs so if he follows them he will reach her and she turns on the music and then she needs candles. She asks him for boots or stilettos and Rex asks for stilettos. She sits down and starts putting them on. She tells him to tell Bree what he really wants and Rex tells her that she will say no. Maisy tells him that she said no to some things and he tells her that there is a difference because he doesn't care if she rejects him. She gives him a sign with her hand and he lies on the floor. She tells him that when he loves somebody he has to make some sacrifices. He tells her that it is hard choice…love or passion. She tells him that it is and she puts a high heel next to his head and tells him that this might hurt a little bit and she walks with stilettos across his back. We hear him breathing heavily because of pain. We see Maisy's room and the big picture of her whole family (She is on the picture with her husband and their children, son and daughter).

"As Claire prepared for bed she was unaware that somewhere else in the Scavo house the day she had just finished was starting all over again. (Claire made herself tea, she turns the lights out and she goes to bed) (Lynette is watching home video in her bedroom and she sees that Claire is playing the guitar and singing and playing with puppets and she is real funny) Lynette was relieved to see that Claire was doing a good job. But after further viewing…it dawned on Lynette (Claire tells kids to give her a three bear hug and they all hug her) Claire might be doing her job a little too well."

Julie asks her if she remembers when she was in bed the whole week and she begged her to eat something and for the weeks she had to pay the bills and she had to clean the house and she had to schedule her own doctor's appointment once. Susan tells her that back then she was in bad shape and Julie tells her that it is still going on. Julie tells her that now when she needs some support she decides to throw the mom card. Susan tells her that they had to send Zach back because they could get into a lot of trouble. Julie tells her that now Zach is the one who is in lot of trouble because she sent him back to Paul who hates him. Julie goes off to bed.

Lynette wishes her good luck on that and Edie tells her that she is not looking half bad and asks her what she did with her children and Lynette tells her that she hired a nanny. Lynette tells her that their mothers were smart because they never hired nannies because they knew that there was someone out there who was better mom then they were. Edie tells her that she had a nanny growing up Mrs. Muntz but she was more like court appointed social worker because her mother had a thing for bourbon and shoplifting and she did a little time. She tells him that from now on she is not his wife anymore and she will go and find the best lawyer out there and together they are going to eviscerate him and she will take away his money and his family and his dignity. She tells him that she is so thrilled that she knows that he loves her because she wants him to be hurt as much as humanly possible. Bree tells him that she is so glad that he didn't die before she got the chance to tell him this. She goes away.

Gabrielle opens the false panel and finds the papers and the passport.

"Trust is a fragile thing. Once earned it affords us tremendous freedom (Lynette goes away and says by to her kids and Claire) but once trust is lost it can be impossible to recover (Bree goes to lawyer in office Solomon, Miller & Haas family law). Of course the truth is we never know who we can trust (Susan gives a look to Julie who is reading something on her bed). Those we're closest to can betray us (Paul is getting out his garbage) and total strangers can come to our rescue (Edie is with a police officer who is knocking on Martha's door). In the end (Gabrielle is alone in the living room with the papers and the passport) most people decide to trust only themselves. It really is the simplest way (Gabrielle throws passport into the fire) to keep from getting burned.
