Except for the scene with Susan attacking Paul with that weapon, this was a really good episode of Desperate Housewives, something that we have not seen since the season really started. All of the storylines are starting to come together and we are really starting to get some exciting things happening on Wisteria Lane. From Tom's mother having her mental dimentia issues, to Gaby really having a problem on her hands with her biological daughter, the show is finally achieving what it hoped for when they started planning out the arcs. Now they have to keep this momentum going and not give us a filler episode next week.
This was a really enjoyable episode of desperate housewives, i really liked the theme of halloween, it was quite refreshing seems the show has only done one halloween epsisode,
Their were some really great scenes in this episode espically susan attacking paul with a klub which was just a fantastic and really memorable scene
I also enjoyed the lynette storlyine this week it was actually pretty sad to see that toms mother had pretty much lost her mind but the writers dealt with the storlyine well
Overall excited or scared was a really good episode of housewives as season 7 continues to impress
I was thoroughly impressed by this Thanksgiving episode, with Susan especially. The scene depicted in this episdoe's summary, where she atacks Paul Young with a caveman's club was awesome! That was so hilarious, and I just couldn't stop laughing!
Gabby's storyline is also getting very interesting, as she tries to find a balance between her biological daughter and the faughter she has raised.
Similarly, Lyntette's storyline with her mother-in-law was very good, and that could be the end of it tonight.
Definitely think that this was the best episode of this season so far, and I really hope this standard is maintained! Keep it up, guys, and I can't wait for more!
I'm not usually a fan of themed episodes, but this episode was actually quite a surprise. Renee has a halloween party, Tom finally accepts that his mother is losing it mentally, Bree and Keith find out more about each other, and Gaby dotes on Grace, causing Juanita to get jealous and suspicious.
The standouts for this episode include Susan and Paul's fight near the end, and Juanita being jealous of Gaby's affection for Grace.
I understand where Gaby is coming from, but I sympathize with Juanita because it is clear that Gaby is neglecting her. I can't wait to see where this storyline goes.
Renee and Lee both dressing up as Marilyn Monroe was, I think, the funniest part of the episode.
Excited and Scared was a superb episode of Desperate Housewives because it showcased the humanity within us all through the characters and their experiences. This was also a fun episode because there were some good laughs. There was some moments that touched the heart. I wasn't sure how this season was shaping up, and some times the things that happen in this show seem unbelievable, however this episode gave us expereinces and reactions that we can relate to, or easily imagine in our own lives which really connected the actors to the viewers. I look forward to seeing what happens next!!!
Bree/Keith: Nice to see Marcia Cross happy and smiling. She hasn't been this happy since, well the beginning of season 3. Her relationship is charming.
Renee: The scene where she dressed up as Marylin Monroe and saw Lee had done the same thing was absoultely hilarious!
Scavo Family: Kudos to Lois Smith for her excellent portrayl as a person suffering from Demensia. Also Doug Savant is excellent as Tom. He doesn't receive enough praise for he's portrayl as Tom Scavo.
Susan/Paul/Mike: The best one - I've said it before don't mess with Teri Hatcher. Her being fired was upsetting and her attacking Paul was shocking. She is right - Paul Young is evil. The ending where Mike left for Alaska was very emotional.
