Glad DH is finally back tonight! Although being a Lynette and Tom fan, I'm not really looking forward to Lynette's storyline in thisepisode

I don't know but I just have a feeling this episode isn't going to be as good as the 8x10 and 8x12. We'll have to wait and see.

I know what you mean, I'm looking forward to seeing Julie and Orson again, and I know Gaby and Juanita will make me laugh, but I don't expect the episode to be that good. Maybe we'll be positively surprised...?

I dont see much development of the mystery this episode, but we will see whether Orson is hiding something.

gabby and lynette will probably be just fillers [but i'll also probably enjoy gabby's], while bree and susan will have a bit of a story. so i'll probably like all of them except lynette's, who has kind of been boring this year [like last year ]

THIS EPISODE WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.

At first I was mad that for 30 minutes Bree had just one scene...

And then there came the scene when she was talking to the other housewives and it was heartbreaking.

And then You-know-who comes back. And I knew he would come back, but still, seeing it was so powerful...

And then he says the best quotes of all times.

GOD!!! I really hope the writers won't destroy my favorite couple... I need a happy ending, I really, really do.

Whatever happened to MJ and Lee being in this episode? I was looking forward to seeing them... Lee passing as Carlos would surely be funny, and MJ, well, I guess our hope of a interaction between him and Julie will eventually die unresolved. Why don't they ever do anything with that kid? Juanita and Penny have blossomed so much, why not MJ? I won't go into Celia because I've actually grown accostumed to her rarely talking and looking dumb all the time.

Last time that something went boom was 6x23? Patrick exploded in his car and nobody noticed

And you are right, this was a pleasant surprise, I do not get those people over at IMDb boards constantly complaining. I loved Susan & Julie in this eppy, but still ... it upsets me that MJ was not even mentioned, at least there were some photos of him in the background. The "I already raised a child" scene was powerful and it showed how amazing Andrea can be. Also, how weird is it to see Susan in group-scenes nowadays, huh? LOL

Orson reminded me of Dr. Xavier from X-Men, the look on his face when he teasered that annoying guy! But the hands down best scene is Bree verbally smacking the other housewives and she was totally right. They deserved it for shunning her out of their lives and blaming her for everything. Lynette & Gabs were filler, but I got some laughs in there. Loved seeing Principal Hobson again. I love his scenes with Gaby, the way she disrespects him is amazing ! Vanessa had only one scene and it bugged me that she was left out of their group scenes when they were talking about sex at the beginning and later about Bree. Why is she never seen in those anymore? She did not have a single scene with Teri this year, what a shame Promo for next week looks great!!!

OMG! An amazing episode! Best one of the year for me. The show just keeps upping the anty which is great to see in the final season. The ending with Orson was amazing and it made me so happy. I doubt he will go bad as we have been speculating. I think because of the money limitations Kyle can only appear in a certain number of episodes so Bree will decide to move to Maine with him but have to come back for the funeral and he will stay behind. I think we will see a happy ending for them in the final episode and it will turn out someone else will send the note to the police.

It may be Orson wasn't even the one in the car following her but we will see. Either way Im so excited. I just really hope Bree and Orson get a happy ending.

Meanwhile loved Susan's storyline with Julie- it was a lot better then I thought it would be and the scenes between mother and daughter were beautiful.

I also feel Lynette's storyline was not filler at all. I think its going somewhere and perhaps she and Tom may actually divorce and end up with new people but you know what Im ok with that as long as they finish off the series happy.

On the other end of the spectrum Gabby's storyline was completely filler but was actually really enjoyable and moving so I didnt mind.

The most powerful scene was when the girls confronted Bree and when Bree was saved by Orson. So amazing andbrilliantlyexecuted. I doubt the girls will reconcile before the big funeral in Episode 17 but we'll see. (Got im seeing we'll see a lot in this post- lol).

All in all a fantastic episode and one of my favourite housewives outings ever! WRITERS GIVE ME MORE BREE AND ORSON/ SUSAN AND JULIE! YEAH!

I just noticed something weird - Gaby and Susan are wearing the same clothes for 2 days in this episode. Day 1 - Susan in her white sweater talking to Julie; Gabs visting Principal Hobson and then admitting that she was lying to Juanita Day 2 - morning group scene and then Intervention at Bree´s house I have noticed it before in episode 7.07 "A Humiliating Business" - during group scene where Bree is talking about her menopause, they were all wearing the same clothes they wore the day before (probably just bad editing in this case)

Wasn't the intervention during an evening where Bree was taking someone to her bed?

Yes, first the mroning scene with Lynette telling the girls about alcoholic Bree and then the intervention during the night, but it is still bugging me that nobody noticed that during the filming of this episode.

It was an enjoyable episode, but I was expected much more.

Susan: I was more satisfied with this storyline than I thought I was going to be actually. Susan's plan to sabotage Julie's adoption thing was really predictable and cliche but the rest was fantastic. I loved Julie's angle on her relationship with Susan and I loved Mike's role in all of it; it reminded me of early season 4. I look forward to see what happens next with them and I'm just glad that Julie is back.

Gabrielle: I didn't like it much, it was really filler and didn't make me laugh or anything. It had some cute moments surely, and it was nice seeing Juanita in the spotlight again but Gabby not telling Juanita about Carlos and how she came around at the end was really predictable, I felt like I had seen that storyline over and over again.

Lynette: I LOVE Frank! I think they have great chemistry together and I really liked this storyline, the writing was excellent in the scene with the lights when they were about to have sex and also in the last scene when he came over with pizza. I'm really excited to see where the writers take Lynette & Frank and I hope that it won't end suddenly with Lynette getting back with Tom, I'd love for Lynette to develop emotions for Frank first and have a strong inner conflict before finally making a decision.

Bree: Love her! It was weird not having any scenes of her during the first half of the episode but her scene with Jerry was just fantastic! The fact that she didn't remember him was rather unexpected and then her confrontation with the ladies was fierce. I am on Bree's side of course so I'm glad she really gave them a piece of her mind. The near-rape scene was amazing and I was so happy to see Orson back! I completely forgot how much I hated him in season 5 haha. I also especially loved Orson's quote about how the both of them were always best in cleaning messes up.

Are we sure that was the next morning? I could imagine that would be immediately after Renee told Lynette she took Bree out drinking.
