We all looooooooooooove Desperate housewives, in fact, i think most of us are obsessed, but their are things that niggle us and somethings that make us wild.

I'll go first-I get angry when they do stupid sitcom filler episodes instead of contunuing the storyline! I also furious that in the past month only one episode has aired. I know its not Desperate housewives fault, but come on!

It is frustrating when shows get desperate for stories as they have with this show. The creativity left the show a couple of years ago (approximately).

It is very frustrating for me when writers drag out a certain subplot and spread it out over many episodes then they drop it with little or no gratification for the audience. In this show the writers seem to like to kill off a character when they cannot think of anohter way to end something.

One example of sudden termination of a subplot is when the paper with the password for Carlos's money flew away in the hurricane. There are many other things like that but I do not remember the details well enough.

I am tired of so many Desperate Writers shows.

I also agree about the 'convenience' SLs. It always makes me feel like SLs may not pay off because of this, so why even bother getting invested in it.

I hate it when they have too many characters and don't know how to use them all appropriately, subjecting many awesome actors to skimpy little bit parts that they never expand upon. Examples would include Harriet Sansom Harris (I'm still mad at how Felicia-lite season 7 was considering it was all about her and Paul), Lyndsy Fonseca, Leslie Ann Warren, and the likes of the great Carol Burnette and Bob freakin Newhart.

Totally agree. They can't seem to balance it well.

The thing that nags at me the most is the shows timeline. Its all messed up. Before and after the time Jump. The other day I tried to make out a timeline for the series, but some later episodes contradict earlier episodes. But I don't let it annoy me so much.

A lot of shows that dont have a "typical" timeline are like that. One Tree Hill is like that too and it drives me crazy. I just try not to think about it

Moot point now but when Tom and Lynette had a serious conflict it was always Laynette that was proven right. E.g. Tom asked his mother to help with children and Lynette was against it so naturaly she had Alzheimers and couldn't help.
