    till the very end?

It's been eight years of Desperate Housewives. There were moments of anger towards the housewives, and moments of love. Moments of disgust and moments of pride. We have lived with these women for eight years. Followed their lives and shared theirfeelings and emotions. Laughed when they laughed and cried when they cried. They have all been the perfect escapism into another reality where everything is dramatic, funny, andquite simply....fabulous.

But which housewife has been a fan favorite since day one and remains so today?

For me It's Lynette. I just love this woman. After everything she's been through. After all the kids she raised, she still remained pure and good hearted in the end.

My favorite has always been Susan, from the very start. She's the one I root for the most, and ironically she's the one who disappoints me the most, because it always seems she gets the worst end of the stick, story-wise. A lot of the time the writers don't seem to know what to do with Susan and Mike anymore, which is a shame. They became stale as years went on, hardly without ever doing anything super juicy.

I also miss klutzy Susan. The funny situations she becomes embroiled in nowadays (like the Sanchez thing) aren't so much klutzy as they are borderline idiotic.

Still, she's always remained the best housewife to me, which is why I'm so hoping they'll give her a happy ending, rather than a bad or bittersweet one. I know she's probably the most hated housewife for most fans, but, yeah, she's my favorite gal.

When i first started watching DH, I liked Edie, but then a couple of episode later, she got killed off! (Damn you Marc Cherry!), but then i quickly learned I loved Bree! Bree has had so much bad-luck over the years, and she's never been truly happy. I do hope that one day she finds perfection. Its too late in the series now for her to fall truly in love with someone (Unless she gets back with Orson). As much as I want Orson to come back as a baddie, I want him to come back as agoodie, so Bree can live happily ever after.

Gabby. She's entertaining as the snary, materialistic woman but deep down she has a good heart and I feel for her during dramatic scenes. Reminds me a lot of Brooke Davis and well, you can see I love her too LOL

I love them all but I most definitely love Bree the most and have since the very first time I watched the show. I feel like out of all the wives, Bree has changed and grown the most throughout the seasons, she has had the juiciest story lines and dialog, and Marcia Cross is just a fantastic actress all around the board.

I fell in love with Lynette in the Pilot after she got in the pool trying to wrangle her kids! She's been my favorite ever since.

My favorites in the Pilot were Bree and Susan. But as the show went on, I started to like Edie in 1.12 and then loved her in 1.16 when she started to make out with Paul just to save the day Bree started getting on my nerves in season 3 and so did Susan. So Edie stayed my favorite until she died and I sort of favorited Katherine for a while in season 4 when she was cool, but it went away in 5.01 lol, then started again when she went coo-coo crazy in season 6.

Katherine is definitely my favorite secondary wife. Dana Delany is such a damned good actress.

Edie is my second favorite, then Betty Applewhite (I adore that woman ). Then Katherine, Renee (she's really grown on me), and, honestly, I never cared much for Angie, don't really know why...

Me neither. I was disappointed by that actress. She was not very good, how did she win an Emmy in 2004? That is a mystery to me, must have been a slow season back then lol.Laughing

I just feel like Angie wasn't a great fit on the show. Her personality, her family, her look, it just all clashed with the suburbia thing to me. And the whole eco terrorist story line was, in retrospect, kind of lame.

The story started out great, and then in the 11th episode I had to roll my eyes when I saw they were headed in the "psycho boyfriend" direction again. I really loved it the first 10 episodes, the introduction with Angie's scar, the idea of a housewife having killed someone, them changing their identities... everything. And in the second half it all went down the crapper. It got stale, with her screentime diminishing, and Patrick Logan was dreadful. Such a cliche of a bad guy... his every line was cringe-worthy.

And yes, Drea's not that great an actress, her range is quite limited. She does her funny lines (though slightly overacted), but she doesn't do drama well. And Nick was always borderline creepy. But I liked Danny. I always like the mystery kids, Zach, Matthew, Dylan, all of them.

Exactly. Their screentime was so diluted in the 2nd half of the season. Nick barely had something to do aside from being run over and screwing Julie.

I always love the first half of Season 6, but after that, not so much. I liked Angie, she added some crudeness which actually exists in the suburbs, not just the homemaker, the soccer mum or the cute single mother.
